Fresh from my v3.2 software update, most things have been working correctly, and at last the WeConnect (sorry, VW) app is giving me more useful features, like "where the heck did I leave my car?")

Yesterday, a couple of minutes into a drive, I felt rather warm. The heated seat had turned itself on and the cabin temperature had set itself to maximum. I tried to turn them down, but each time, the temperature display started counting up and the heated seat indicator seems to be cycling between different settings.

Did the usual things, cycled the ignition, reset the Infotainment panel, but I was still being roasted. VW dealer said it might be a problem with the touchscreen (guessing at phantom inputs here). Gestures are off, so no chance of any wild hand movements triggering it.

Anyone else been baked recently?

Mine did this a couple of times after 3.2 but seems to be behaving normally now!
If it helps the cabin temp sensor is the small lump (looks like an off LED) just above the centre console net. I guess this being obstructed might make a difference but who knows!

Mine has been doing this over the past few days and seems to be getting worse. During a 15 minute journey today it kept increasing the temperature by itself (at least 20+ times), so I was almost constantly needing to turn the temperature back down, where it would remain for about 30 seconds. Cycled the infotainment system twice, but no difference. It even did it when parked on the driveway having gone into park.
If it doesn't sort itself out I guess I'll need to call VW and get it into a dealer, but the visits I've had previously have never inspired confidence.

Mine does the same. It seemed to be worse in the Summer, when the central console got very hot
But that may have been a coincidence

Quite a lot of other error codes, Parking brake, front sensors
We're hoping it's sorted in the next update

I am sure someone will correct me, but I don't think Parking sensors or Parking Brake errors are caused or repaired by any software issues. Do you mean Parking brake or manoeuvre braking? If you have a parking sensor out, then manoeuvre braking will be unavailable also.
Does the parking sensor screen show a particular segment with an exclamation, you may need to book that in and be prepared to foot the bill if they are damaged.

I've just had to have the inner front two sensors replaced due to stone damage.
