Overnight charging failure
I realise that this is a well trodden path but.. Set my car up to charge overnight doing the same routine that has been successful before. I came down this morning to find that it hadn’t charged and my charger app was saying ‘waiting for car demand’. As it was down to 18% I’d say that the demand was...

Re: Unable to set up WeConnect app
Been out to move my car this morning and thought I’d try to connect (again). Went straight through. Finally after 6 days of frustration I’ve got WeConnect up and running!

Re: Unable to set up WeConnect app
I’ve just got off of the phone to Digital support and I’m no further forward! I collected the car last Saturday and the salesman couldn’t get WeConnect to accept the VIN. I tried the following day and it went through OK but the app wouldn’t connect to the car, so no functions. In frustration, yester...

Re: Scheduled charging -Wallbox
Thanks all for your help and thoughts. As a further update I deleted/unpaired everything and started again, After it was up and running I tried to schedule a daytime charge again giving it 25 minutes before start time and IT WORKED! So I’ve set the schedule for overnight again 🤞🤞🤞🤞Thanks again and t...

Re: Scheduled charging -Wallbox
Scheduled charging with our Wallbox Pulsar Plus works fine for us. We limit the charge to 80%, and that's the only charging related setting we use on the id.3. Our procedure looks like this: - Unlock car/charging port. - Plug in (white lights flashing at the id.3 charging port). - Lock the car. - A...

Re: Scheduled charging -Wallbox
So I have a Pod Point and i can only get the scheduled charging to work with a very specify process. If I don't adhere to this process it basically doesn't work, or it charges but very very slowly. Have nothing set in the car or on the pod point. have the car open (it doesn't work if the car is loc...

Scheduled charging -Wallbox
I picked my car up on Saturday and am trying to get it to charge overnight, on cheap rate from Octopus, using my Wallbox. I can schedule the charge on the app and the correct light shows on the box itself, the car is connected but when I get up in the morning nothing has happened! If I plug in and c...

Re: Delivery time
Also, this was a poor job on hiding the number plate, just FYI... I'd also have thought it'd gone through PDI if it has plates, as the dealer puts them on (and the last thing they'd do is get a salesman to make/fit them!*) *or, in reality, the last thing a salesman would offer to do! I spotte...

Re: Delivery time
Went to the dealer today to get a better trade in price as second hand cars have gone up in value since I ordered. They still offered me way less than Cazoo or WeBuyAnyCar! So guess where my current car’s going While I was there I spotted my ID3, already plated and parked up waiting to be prepped be...

Land Registry proof?
Has anybody else had to supply proof of their Land Registry when applying for the charging point grant? I decided to use a company called SmartHomeCharge and the initial bit was relatively straightforward, after I’d supplied all the information they’d asked for they then came back to me to say that ...

Re: Delivery time
I ordered my car in early July, and was told at the time that it should be delivered in mid - to late October. I’ve just ( November 22nd) been told that it has now been built and should be with me in 4-6 weeks 🤞🤞🤞🤞 The funny thing is that about 10 days ago the dealer emailed me to say that he didn’...

Home charging point and Matt-E
I’ve recently ordered my car and am now wading through the home charging point swamp. I’ve noticed that most of the companies supplying charging points quote a ‘fully installed’ price but then say that you have to have a Matt-E device fitted as well at extra cost! Has everybody had to pay out this e...
