Instrument binacle

My instrument binacle currently displays long term data. I'm sure it used to show short term data which worked well for me. I can't work out why it has changed - anyone know how to get it to return to displaying short term dataterm data ?

Re: Partial charge on Intelligent Octopus

We had a sort of "variation on this theme" recently. Plugged in and received the usual off peak charging plan however the charger didn't switch off pending the charging plan starting - it continued to charge at peak rate. Raised this with Octopus who really didn't have an answer. It seems ...

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes

Success! Where i was going wrong was this; after entering the car make, the charger and plugging in Mr ID.3 I was anticipating the third box (test charge) to do something like achieving a tick green tick or displaying some activity the others! It was only on my third attempt when feeling frustrated ...

Re: App woes following 3.2 update

Thanks Sidehaas - your suggestion sorted the problem out - many thanks. Couldn't agree more Gwyver; so many, and too many hurdles to navigate. A simple ABC following the 3.2 update would be helpful................!

App woes following 3.2 update

My euphoria following a successful and speedy 3.2 update has been diluted by frustration with the app. The app has worked perfectly for two years. Following the update it has proved impossible to log into the car. Why VW has to make this so difficult I don't know. Should I delete and reinstall the a...

Re: East Derry Alloys - Prone to Kerbing?

The problem comes when you want to get the kerbed East Derry's renovated. Apparently they are "diamond cut" (whatever that means) and I've found huge difficulty in finding anyone to repair them. Chips Away won't touch them. Anyone aware of a repair place in the south west?

Re: Unable to load connection status

I had the same problem after eight months of ownership. Reported it to WeConnect customer care who sent suggested fixes within 24 hours. None worked. Went back to them and they replied saying it had been referredto the advanced technical dept! They must have done something OTA as I had an email with...

Re: Offline woes !

The time it takes for the system to tell you the system is unable to load connection status and the endlessly revolving blue circle is really annoying (leaving aside the inability to receive updates).

Offline woes !

After nine months of "no faults" the car went off line on 21 May. We Connect suggested deleting and reinstalling the app, rebooting the infotainment, driving for 15 mins, exiting and locking etc. Before I could follow the instructions found myself back online on 29 May only to be offline a...

Re: Postcodes not recognised in VW Sat Nav

Tap the magnifying glass symbol and insert desired address. The destination map comes up with the address; tap the blue send circle to the right of the address and it sends it to the car (sometimes!). It worked when I looked up Whipsnade Zoo - received by car almost instantaneously. Still waiting fo...

G43FAN - Thanks. Indicated range was 27 miles following arrival. The red figures indicating a 9% battery charge (never seen a battery % before) alarmed my wife!

OBICCFC - Thanks. Yes, spot on; continued at the normal speed and driving style. There were a couple of hills including the one up to Stonehenge but nothing too serious. The aircon was on though.

Abnormal ?

Dropped into Weyhill Services (off A303) yesterday evening for a quick charge to get us home. The Genie charger delivered 6.57kWh without too much grief and we left with a range of 82 miles. Within 4 miles the range indicator had dropped 18 miles to 64 ! We found this worrying particularly as the Ge...

Charging to the max

We always charge to the recommended 80%. A longer than usual return journey is planned for Easter Saturday. We are pretty confident we can do it without recharging en route but it will mean leaving home 100% charged. Would it harm the battery if we were to finish charging to the max at 6:00 am and t...

I went for Pod Point Solo. Installation went pretty smoothly; no complaints. It works well and the charge scheduling on the app is good.
