Re: V3.2 software update - rear parking sound gone

I now have my car back from VW and the issue has been fixed.

They said it needed a “hard reset”.

Rear beeps now working.

Re: V3.2 software update - rear parking sound gone

9 - 20 October for the 3.2 update, ouch! My 5 days doesn't seem so bad now!

I've just dropped mine off today at VW Cheltenham for them to look at. Will share an update when I know more.

Re: V3.2 software update - rear parking sound gone

Thanks for the clarity on the two zone climate control, definitely good to know. It was a stretch of a theory, clutching at straws. Will see what the dealer says next week.

Thanks

V3.2 software update - rear parking sound gone

I had my car booked into VW Cheltenham for a Service and v3.2 upgrade on October 5th. It was due to take 2 days, but took 5 as they were having a lot of issues with the software update. Got it back, seemed to be going ok, but on reverse parking for the first time I've noticed the rear parking warnin...

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures

Similar to monkeyhanger it’s much milder here today - 8.5 degrees measured in the car. As a test I turned the car on but remained stationary with no cabin heating; the battery heating did start even with the higher outside temps, but was just a few minutes at 5kW and then turned off leaving a draw o...

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures

That 10kWh/h reading was taking while stationary. If moving it would read in miles/kWh. My point was that the figures suggest a 5kW draw for cabin heating, given it was at 5kWh draw with cabin heating off - I’m not saying it does that for any more than a few minutes, but I think what a lot of people...

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures

What I saw today would suggest heating of the cabin is much more than 2kW at lower temps (around zero C). I used the car from cold, but left the cabin heating off and it was using 5kW, which I assume was battery heating. When I put the cabin heating on it was at 10kW, so 5kW for cabin heating. I did...

Re: Wing mirror parts

Yeah I was moving, so was told proving exactly where it was on the road, etc would be very difficult. The cheeky bugger did just drive on, I had to drive about 1/2 mile back up the road to find him parked up in the Town square looking around his car. Nice of him to stop and check everyone was ok.......

Wing mirror parts

Hello Unfortunately a Mini driver thought they were smaller than they were and clipped my driver side wing mirror while overtaking a parked car on their side of the road. They are claiming it is "one of those things" and saying its no-fault, and my insurance company has said it would be ha...

Re: Stuck in Offline Mode

I lost all connectivity on Wednesday. Car would search for a connection but fail every time. The app would report last update as “Now” but the data was old. I was doing a road trip with the family so didn’t have time to sort it out but was looking to do the fuse 19 trick when I got home. Just got ba...

Re: Question for Pod Point home charger owners

Just wanted to post the positive experience I had with Pod Point. I found the whole process with Pod Point very easy. They completed all the paperwork to process the Government grant, and contacted me with an appointment quickly with a date 2 weeks from initial application/payment. Close to my date ...
