Re: Condensation and water droplets inside headlight

Hello, I've just noticed water droplets in the nearside iD Matrix headlight housing (see photo) I telephoned the dealer and they told me they would need to check with VW HQ to see if it is covered by warranty. The car is eleven months old. Has anyone else got this problem? Thanks iD3 Headlight.jpg[...

Thanks

Re: VW Customer Services?????

Local independent using equivalent but unofficial parts is miles cheaper than a franchised dealer for a non-warranty repair? Shock horror! Dealership labour rates around £80ph vs £30ph local independent, and access to competitively priced parts. I would never pay dealership prices for a non-w...

It would be useful to know if it's the car or the charger causing the issue. Have you tried it on another charger, e.g Tesco pod point? Similar with the cable if your home charger is untethered.
Not had a chance, yet. I know I shouldn’t judge but I suspect it’s the car. Another software glitch?

Car weight - passengers and range?

How many out there regularly travel with 4 occupants? We just did a short 80 mile trip and it looks like the miles/KWh was 2.7. Admittedly, I did drive as I would in my old ICE car, so, aircon on, dual carriageways (not many) at 70 mph (+ a bit), using ACC most of the time. I think our last trip wit...

Re: Red charging light……..

Thanks It certainly covers more than I have observed but still leaves me wondering physically what is happening at the port and communications with the car. Defining a fault and knowing a charge is cancelled? If I turn my charger off at the isolator the port goes white not red. That's a cancelled c...
