Re: Variable boot hight kit

We bought the kit from VW, wasn't expensive and three day delivery into the dealer. Simple to fit as well. It is great for hiding all of the usual bits you carry around, as well as being a better height for the dog. Also it is easy to remove if you need the full boot (although we can still get a ful...

Re: 3.2 installed at the dealer today!

Had the update to 3.2, then had the battery module fault. Only had to wait 3 weeks for this to be fixed, at a different dealer, but same franchise. Courtesy car supplied, one battery module replaced, took two days. The Franchise (Parkway Kettering/Northampton) have been excellent so far. However dri...

Re: ID3 Official Recall - 3 seperate issues

Morning, mine went in for the recalls as listed above, passed all of them, successfully updated to 3.2 - then a week later- drive train error, and apparently the battery module has/is failing so it needs to go to the local battery centre, who can't see it for a month. If it was fine when "check...

Re: 3.2 software update cancelled

No problems with update, on to 3.2, no issue. Logged back into the car, all great. Then one week later get the problem with drive motor error☹️ Dealer took it straight back in (almost as if they were expecting it) and provided free courtesy car. Does anyone know what this seemingly common fault (fol...

Re: Incorrect range reported in the App.

Just been updated to 3.2 and now have the same issue, incorrect mileage showing on the app. Oh and the drive train error has just popped up (1 week after update). So back to the dealer☹️ (who to be fair seem to have been expecting this and have booked me in straight away and provided free courtesy c...

Re: 3.2 software update cancelled

Dropped car off at my local dealers, Parkway, Kettering, on Monday. Picked up Tuesday afternoon. Update all completed no problem and puddle lights fixed under warranty. Whole booking in, and dropping off process very painless and only had to wait three weeks for an appointment (some of which was dow...

Re: WeConnect network outage - again

Good morning all , and a Happy New Year. My vehicle was offline for ten days in the run up to and over Christmas. Green SOS light, greyed out globe and the error message "unable to connect" (or similar). I tried some of the fixes on here, bar pulling the fuse, to no effect. On New Years Da...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

Morning, had my update done yesterday at Parkway, Kettering. Absolutely no problems, dropped off at 0730, collected at 1630. Had a little Polo as a courtesy car and I have to say I think I prefer the dash and layout to the one in my ID3. It had the digital cockpit and the infotainment was far more i...

Retune radio

This may be a silly question, but how do I retune/rescan the radio. I want to add some new stations ie virgin 80s but for the life of me I cannot find/remember how to do it. I must have done it when I got the car but I’ve been to sleep since then and the manual doesn’t really help. I know how to add...

Survey

Logged onto the We Connect Id app this morning, and a survey from the developers popped up. A good chance to provide feedback on what is a pretty poor app. Only took about five minutes and includes a couple of free text boxes to allow you to really express your opinions. Might be worth having a look.

Got all 3? parts of the update yesterday, one after the other, and, apart from the first notification being the assist systems unavailable, they all installed smoothly and without any issues.

Re: Should my Car have a Reversing Camera (and other things)

Re variable boot floor, ordered through my local dealer, Parkway in Northants. Two week delay because it’s on back order, but no issues with ordering it, and the fixing kit.

Re: Should my Car have a Reversing Camera (and other things)

Re the boot floor, I’ve ordered mine via my local VW dealer. £160 or there abouts.
I’m sure you should be able to haggle some sort of discount bearing in mind your situation.

Re: Unlock using key seems inconsistent

Glad I’m not the only one. I too have a Life model, and often the key doesn’t work first time, and I have to be right next to the car before it unlocks. This happens with both keys.

Re: Reduced Range

I appreciate the feedback. The only location set is home. There are no set times for charging either on the car, the App or the Podpoint. The only thing that is/was different is that I had an update flash up on the screen, on Friday, but I didn't see what it was for. I do believe the car, but don't ...

Reduced Range

HI, I know range has been discussed before, and that the car adjusts how far it thinks you can go based on previous driving, however my range has suddenly dropped, with no change of driving or circumstances. I charged to 80% as normal on Thursday, the App showed a range of 202 miles ( a little less ...

We connect app

So today my phone told me there was an update for the app. Very excited, thought perhaps they had started to add some useful features. Downloaded the update, opened the app and………………..the only thing I can see has changed is that the air con now appears above the charge level. Way to go, great update...
