Still bloody waiting... no rescheduled delivery date yet!!

8 months tomorrow since I ordered... and my car was due to be delivered. Today I received a phone call and an email to tell me "Volkswagen have contacted us, to advise a fault has been identified within the radio..." delivery has been suspended and there is no forecast for delivery. Fuming...

Update - my car is in the UK awaiting PDI and delivery. I have my reg no and it will be delivered on 8th April

Looks like I'm a step closer to getting my car, lease company deliveries team just emailed me my reg number...

UPDATE I have just been informed by my lease company deliveries team, that my car lands in the UK tomorrow... this after I was originally told it was due in the UK on 7th Feb. I'm not holding my breath just yet! Our cars must be in the same batch! Back in late Feb, I secured one of many pre-ordered...

I've just been chatting with a mate who's in the motor trade, about the delays. He says, "They'll also need to run a fresh credit check because the old acceptance will have expired." Anyone had this happen?

Out of interest do you know what BW you had ? you ordered 4 days before me. I last asked my dealer for an update on the 3rd December, which is when he confirmed a BW49.
