Re: Sunglasses case

I had one of these on mine. Can’t take a photo as don’t have the car any more. Only issue was if your sunglasses are very curved, like wrap around, it can be a tight fit.

Re: Delivery time

Got mine new in September 21. It’s a Tour with heat pump. Just sold last week for £43,500 and replaced this week with a Polestar 2 which I ordered 04/03/22. As I've got a Tour on order, I'd be interested to know why you decided to change it, if you are happy to say. I just didn’t gel with it. It dr...

Re: Delivery time

For those of us who ordered Tours, if we do actually get them, I'm hoping their rarity will work in our favour by the time we need to resell them... Got mine new in September 21. Re: Polestar 2 – Ordering Experience & First Impressions

I received mine Tuesday this week. I’d been tracking it closely since I ordered it on 04/03/22 using the trick to get more detail out of the order page in the portal. My only gripe was that my wife noticed the ride was firm, then realised they’d delivered it with 49.5 PSI! The process was very smoo...

Re: Delivery time cancelled order

Out of curiosity why are so many cancelling on here going for the Polestar 2, as opposed to a Model 3? Both seem similar in pricing and the 3 at least has the supercharger network. I sold my September 21 Tour to a local dealer last week and got what I originally paid for it new. My Polestar comes o...

Re: Delivery time

Happy days, my Polestar 2 gets delivered on Monday :) I’ve just managed to change order to a preconfigured car, so ETA a couple of weeks. I did it because Polestar are also struggling with supplies. They’ve dropped the pixel lights for new builds and reduced the price. They’re also putting bigger b...

Factory order? That's excellent
Yep. SMLR with pilot and plus packs. They rarely appear preconfigured
Seen the stuff about the Pixel headlights being omitted from the Pilot pack in the UK and Europe?
I have, and if the Pixel lights are not supplied I’ll be furious.

Anyone have an idea on delivery times on a factory P* order? Got in my head around 6 months? No pre config cars showing that fit the budget right now, but I think it'll be quicker than my ID3 arriving that's for sure.
I ordered 14/02 and eta is end of May/early June

Re: What colour did you get/order?

Went for the scale silver. From what I see in these forums it might be a bit of a rarity. Looks great in the very few videos I've seen online. If it ever gets built will be very 😊 I too have a Scala Silver Tour, but wanted grey or white. I ended up with silver as when I phoned the dealer in Septemb...

Re: Delivery time

I have an Id.3 Tour which I collected on 24/09/22 Can I borrow your time machine ? It's clearly the only way to actually take delivery of a Tour, and I hadn't thought of this particular solution 😂 I got lucky. Was on holiday and rang my normal VW dealer who said they had a vehicle due in the follow...

Re: Delivery time

Have to admit, I started looking at one when i saw you had decided to switch over, and when my dealer kept saying he didn't have a clue what was going on with my order. I've been looking at the preconfigured ones for one with the pilot and plus pack, in a single motor but nothing as of yet. Ordered...

Re: Intermittent Wipers DO NOTHING

When I got my car in September I fitted a dash cam. The next day I noticed the auto wipers didn’t work. I’d not used them since picking up the car so assumed I’d knocked a wire. I took off the trim behind the mirror and made sure all the connectors were properly plugged in. They’ve been fine ever si...

Re: Bi directional charging on 77kW models

It's only worth doing while we have those 5p per kWh charging windows. If we all start doing this, off peak is going to become the new peak and it won'tbe 5p per kWh any more. Even more reason to use the car I’ve already paid for and not fork out on a battery system. Make hay whilst the sun shines

Re: Bi directional charging on 77kW models

Interesting timing. Only yesterday I was talking to a colleague about a home battery system that I could charge overnight at 5p per KWh and use during the day when electricity is 24p. I was saying it seemed weird to pay thousands for a 10KWh battery system when I have a 77 KWh one sat on the drivewa...

Re: Information on 3.0

That dealer-only 2.4 is a bummer. I thought I’d escaped doing long trips to the dealer just for software updates as my car was factory 2.3. It’s hard enough getting the car in to them as it is, let alone with everyone needing to book in for updates. My car came with a scratch on the interior A pilla...

Re: Light bar on dashboard?

If you look at the dash (or heads-up if you have it) there’ll be an icon of a foot lifting off the accelerator when the light goes blue.

If you lift off when instructed the car will slow down in a manner it thinks is most economical. You see it at things like speed limit changes and roundabouts.

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures

5kWh.heating for the cabin? You'd melt your interior ducting and vents putting air that hot through the vents and perhaps crack a cold windscreen too. A 3kWh does an amazing job of heating a room in a house, let alone a small car cabin. If that cabin heater is rated higher than 3kWh, I'd amazed, it...
