Re: Next car after ID.3
I know this will divide opinion, but I'd have a look at a Tesla Model Y. (you can't see the outside when you are sat inside :D ) Similar price bracket and size to the Hyundai and Skoda you are looking at They do test drives, really easy to do, book online, turn up and they chuck you the "keys&q...

Re: End of lease review after 2 years - Pro 58kwh

Re: End of lease review after 2 years - Pro 58kwh
It's a Tesla. Turned up this week. being able to directly compare the iD.3 with a Tesla has been eye opening. Tesla is a million miles ahead. I know that I may be back in 6 months complaining of creaks and build quality on the Tesla, will see how that goes, but so far first impressions are it is ver...

End of lease review after 2 years - Pro 58kwh
My 2021 model iD.3 goes back to the lease company in a couple of weeks after 2 years and 20,000 miles. Here's my thoughts and what has gone well/badly (not great unfortunately) Gone through 8 tyres, and the 2 on the back are now due for replacement. Had 2 punctures so a bit unlucky there but tyre we...

Re: Understanding the info screen / range / MP?
D - is the important one. Directly correlates to the range. Over the winter i was averaging 2.6 ish, which meant on a full charge to 100% the range was 150 miles. Starting to move up a bit now weather is warmer, I’m getting around 3.2 and a full tank showing 170 miles.

Re: How much to charge and how often?
once you can charge at home things become so much easier (from someone who relied on public charging for the first 6 weeks of ownership) my ID.3 is showing about 160 miles range on a charge to about 90% at the moment you'll not want to let it get below about 30 miles of range before charging again, ...

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures
I’m getting around 2.8 miles per kWh at the moment, but also am doing lots of school run short journeys in a hilly area. This feels like the worst case, and i guess when it gets to summer i;ll be nearer 4 miles per kWh - over the 2 years I’ll have the car it should average itself out to somewhere mi...
