Next software update 3.2 to 3.4!

Hi all.
Like many my 3.2 software was updated over the air a few weeks ago to enable the car to have over the air updates! As clear as mud.

Anyhow have been wondering what the car would be updated to. So exciting.

So input the car's vin number into a VW recall/ service thing. And got.

Re: Long v Short Journeys and Battery Heating

Hi, Yes the main battery does indeed have a heater. But effectively you have no direct control over it. Let's say it's -5c and the car has been out side all night. You start your journey, the battery will warm up to 0c. During this heating time overall electric consumption will be higher than once t...

Defog windows:
• Volume of air flowing towards the windshield
increases
• The vent temperature is adjusted as needed
• Air drying increases by lowering the

Hi
If you are looking for more info about the car, battery, heating and consumption plus loads of other data that the car collects then.

Re: Confused by Charging Curves/Speeds...

Hi Charging speeds just vary. A lot. The battery state of charge and the battery temperature being the main two variables. Followed by the all powerful battery management system that does the actual controlling. At 8% soc I have seen on a 250 kw or 350 kw charger a speed of 100 kw. the battery was a...

Re: Confused to hell and back.

Yes, probably one or more bugs were solved and new ones introduced.
Only yesterday some of the yellow warning symbols started flashing. I was just on a Tesco run. Here we go again. Then they all went out about 50 seconds later.

Any idea when 3.2 will be updated to 3.5 software?
Thanks.

Re: Confused to hell and back.

VW seem unwilling or more likely unable to resolve this bug. Probably because the software that runs the car is not a single operating system. Using the example recently alluded to by ford each module in the car will have been manufactured by different companies each with its own software. Then some...

Re: Ohme Pro, No Power, circuit breaker tripped

I asked how come Ohme it was going to take so long to undertake warranty work on a 2 month installation. Reply was " Unfortunately, we do not control the schedules of the installers, and this will be the earliest date they have available for the re visit". I wonder if the "installers&...

The word "Snow" in individual settings

Hi I was playing with the various modes, Eco, comfort and sport. Noticed when moving from any of those 3 to individual mode, the word snow appeared for just a faction of a second. So videoed it. Here is the screenshot. Also later saw the words "Off road" in the same place, but unfortunatel...

Ohme Pro, No Power, circuit breaker tripped

Hi. Our 2 month old Ohme Pro just died. The circuit breaker tripped and will not reset. Contacted Ohme support asked to take photos of the entire instillation and a video of the circuit breaker not re-setting. Got back to me late the next day "re-visit is required to investigate and possibly re...

Re: Octopus intelligent query

Hi I have used both the Octopus app and Ohme charger to control Octopus Intelligent. Car ID3 on 3.2 software. Both work well. Octopus app seems to charge later in the early morning whereas Ohme seems to charge much earlier. Both will charge the car with 7.5 pence per KWh outside of the 11.30pm to 5....

Re: Considering ID.3 Max Pro

Hi Have had our ID3 Max for 4 months now. Other than the travel assistance turning itself of for about 4 minutes at 70mph on the motorway. That in itself was not to much of an issue, I just took over control. Other than that no faults or issues at all. Love the heads-up display. The DCC is not to gr...

Re: Climate control menu intermittently not available

Have had same issues, not just climate. Seems random. If this was happening on a Pc I would put it down to, needs more powerful CPU and or more RAM. Plus software needs to be optimised more.
A lot more.
