Not noticed that, but I hate the piano black trim, worst design decision ever... fingerprint magnet.
I have noticed a strange green glow from the HUD glass at times when it's sunny.

Re: D versus B safety
B mode here too, I just like the way it drives. I still hover my foot over the brake when I think I may need it. Left foot braking? Nope, I just remove my right foot from the accelerator and hover over the brake. That way I can slow down more if I need to or come to a complete stop with a light tou...

Mine has 2 seats in the back. Not a problem for me though because I only carry 2-4 people max.

Re: Tyre pressures at delivery?
Well, no it doesn't have tyre pressure sensors that's the point. It has a system that uses the ABS sensors to monitor wheel rotation and compares it to the other wheels to see if there is a difference which would indicate a change in circumference. It has no idea what the actual pressures are, so y...

Re: Tyre pressures at delivery?
What amazes me looking at the comments re this topic , is have all motorists got out of the habit of checking their tyres on a regular basis. The tyre pressures are clearly indicated on the driver's side of the ID.3.The tyre pressures varies depending on the load that is required to be carried. In m...

Re: Is yo-yo charging harmful to the battery ?
Well, we officially hit the 1st day of Summer yesterday, is anyone now letting battery drop to 20% before charging?
Weather has been scorching recently.

My Tour delivered December has area view I think?
I have the option to switch to a wide angle camera and also an overhead view, really helpful for parking straight!

Re: Drive through car wash
I'm also curious. Been hand washing my car but feel like I might just take it through the car wash near me, it's one of those where the car get jet washed before hand then you drive on to a platform that pulls the car through. Would I just need to put car in to neutral and turn off auto hold? I used...

Re: From Life to Tour
Don't get too excited, the batteries are bigger than advertised and will display various values around their advertised range. I doubt it'd make much of a difference in real world use.

Filled it out, honestly don't use the app much apart from once attempting to schedule a departure time and to turn on air conditioning before getting in the car.

Re: Does in car scheduled charging work now?
Just wondering if it had time to reach 100%? I have heard the last part of charging past 80% can take nearly as long again… is this right? Never done it myself but have a long journey coming up in a couple of weeks… Yes it had plenty of time, problem is it started the charge at 2kW, I guess because...

Re: Does in car scheduled charging work now?
Well, it did work, but didn't quite reach 100% by the time I set, I think it was 93% or something. I think in the future I'll just charge to 100% the night before. Also, when I got back I plugged in at home and told it to charge to 80% but my scheduled charge 100% setting seemed to override it, even...

Re: Auto stop in reverse?
Yeah my ID.3 Tour has it, kinda annoying at times because when slowly manoeuvring it sometimes slams the brakes on even though you have plenty of space.

Does in car scheduled charging work now?
Heading to London tomorrow, 300+ mile round trip. Set my car to charge to 100% just a few minutes before I plan on leaving.
Is this a mistake? Will it work? Should I just charge it normally for peace of mind?

Re: Do you follow VW advice on battery charging?
Following VW’s advice I find my car has a practical range of 150 miles in summer and only 80 miles in winter. A far cry from the 267 miles prominently featured in their marketing materials. One would think they could provide rather more detail to their recommendations. Anyway, that is adequate for ...

So when do we start allowing the car to sit at 20%? Wait til Summer hits or?
