Hi all
My car was upgraded to V3 of the software by Citygate - and today ( a week later) my iphone 13 will no longer connect to the car.

I have turned my iPhone off and restarted it.
Wifi Is on
Bluetooth is on

Rather oddly my daughter's iPhone OSX will connect.


Any ideas?

I've asked the dealership to order a new carpet - don't think they have any idea to fit it if needed.

I am on 2.3 - I will ask them to update it whilst it's in.

Sorry to ruin anyone's parade, but this truly is an awful car :- Apple Car Play randomly disconnects Wireless charging sometimes/sometimes not decides to charge The Voice control takes about 30- seconds to understand a command, then another 30 seconds to act upon it. The car is going in for warranty...

Unfortunately the voice command from the ID3 ( possibly the worlds worst?) can be heard and constantly stops everything without being "asked" to search for some random bit of information!

The ID3 has managed to turn off all voice comands from Waze, Apple Maps and the VW Sat Nav - I'm still getting Apple warnings such as "70 mile an hour speed camera ahead" but that's all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm sure it's something I've managed to do but how do I turn the keyless entry back on?

Done and that looks like it was the problem - even though I used the app to synchronize with the car, it looks like the car settings take priority over the app settings.

I guess I deserve this after deciding I'm not going to worry about a user-friendly 80% charge - I can't charge past this - I've set it via the app to 100% saved the setting, but I've tried twice now and the car wont charge past 80% Does anyone have any work arounds or clues as to what may being goin...

Hi ok so my ID3 is a business contract hire so I'm not ovel;y concerned about long term battery erosion BUT : If I only charge to 80% as recommended it's as if I've lost 20% Battery capacity anyway - Is this really any worse than charging to 100% and topping up less frequently? Also at the end of 3 ...

Again from the BMW, I could find a destination within the mobile app and "send" it to the car, so the sat nav destination was pre-loaded into the car sat Nav when I got into it.

Completely useless, Comparing this to my BMW M240i ( 2020 model) which recognises phrases such as "take me to" or "direct me to nearest .." the VW must hear "navigate" and even then it's so unintuitive for example "navigate to Radlett Station" will only show &...

I've just taken delivery of a new ID3 Family pro performance (?) and the handbook is pretty hopeless.
When I get out the car, I just put it in park and get out? or do I need to turn it off ?
