Re: Tesla charging - where in the app?

My Tesla app is exactly the same as sidehaas has shown.
Not used it yet but all seems good to find chargers and pick the one you want to use etc.
Hopefully using it for the first time next week.

Re: Facelift hood on a pre-facelift car

I'm guessing that now the bonnet is full length the hinges will sit in a different position. To be honest I don't know how the prefacelift bonnet opens so I could be talking rubbish ! Edit, I'm talking rubbish, just seen that the original bonnet actually does hing from the rear so there is a good ch...

Re: Delivery time

I don't know about wait at the port yet but I was hoping for a quick turnaround. My car left the factory last week and was on a boat within a couple of days. Should have hit the UK yesterday hopefully but waiting on confirmation of this.

Re: ID3 servicing.......... simply explained

On coming up to two years, dealer informed us it was necessary to have our ID3 serviced if we wanted warranty to remain valid. £190 for very little. Told me the batteries are healthy (knew this from the software upgrade earlier this year when same dealer produced battery health report). Also advise...

Re: ID Light on facelift model.

Also every facelift that I've seen apart from mine the 2 lights rear that are on the boot are now actually lights and not reflectors however mine are still reflectors. Feel like I've got stiched up with old parts that they just threw in because they had them spare. The face lift should definitely h...

Re: ID Light on facelift model.

Interesting that some cars seem to have the ID light working and others don't .
I wonder if this is tied in with some of the option packs such as the 30 ambient light colours which would seem a bit strange ?

Sounds great, think I'll get the tariff and just keep quiet for now !
I see that Hypervolt chargers are being offered by Ovo now as well.

Re: Which charger?

For what it's worth, I've got an Indra Smart Pro and I'm on OVO (who have just reduced their EV tariff to 7p per kwh) . It's been very reliable and tbh it means I don't have to rely on setting any schedules in the car (I set it up through Indra) because my trust in VW software is nil. You said you ...

Re: 2023/24 INSURANCE RENEWAL PRICES

It's definitely not just EV insurance that has gone up.
The renewal on my 2 ICE vehicles has gone about 30%.
Most people at work have reported the same.

Re: Suspicious E-mail from VW Financial Services (NOT)

I would only be concerned if they were asking me to click on a link and update my details, in this email they are literally asking you to do the opposite and ignore it.
I suggest you ignore it !

Re: MOT advisory

Since its only an advisory why bother doing anything about it ? I've had similar on my ICE for a number of years and its always an advisory but never a fail. Feeling near the sea means there is always some sign of surface corrosion. As suggested, an Italian tune up before taking it in for a MOT test...

Re: ID Light on facelift model.

I asked my dealer about this today, this was her response:

Yes it will this is a feature that all of the ID products have.

Could be an interesting conversation if it turns up without one.

Re: Insurance prices

Admiral cost last October was £330, identical quote with Admiral this year is/was £550 and that was with them claiming to offer the same price as a new customer, they did reduce it to £440 but by then I had gone to Tesco for £410. I just stuck my details into Tesco website and they quoted me 3 time...

Re: ID Light on facelift model.

I can't specifically say as my car hasn't arrived yet but if you look at the Interior packs that are available it mentions '30 colour ambient lighting without ID-Light'

I did test drive a car but I can't remember if it had the ID light or not.

Re: Ohme Pro, No Power, circuit breaker tripped

Depends on how often you need to charge the car.
I went with a granny charger as a back up as I can take this with me on holiday trips etc and it can be used anywhere.
Clearly if you need to put a lot of charge in the car on a daily basis it's really workable.

Cheers, I am pretty sure things will run significantly smoother this time and no need for the massive spreadsheet of last time !
I'm hoping it might be a nice Christmas present :)
Cheers for the Zappi info.

I'm back again, fingers crossed for a car !

After my first failed attempt at ID3 ownership I'm back and fingers crossed that I have more luck than last time :? I had originally ordered a car 2 years just as the production went made and everything ground to a standstill. Due to a number of reasons the order was cancelled and I'm sure that some...
