There are batches already on order through lease companies with plenty of cars still available. Vanarama one such.

Went for a test drive this morning and was quoted one entire year for a Tour Pro S factory order. 
I guess it'll be a lease deal instead of going through VW as would like a spring delivery, not Autumn 2022.
