Hi, I can’t see that link. It says it’s blocked or removed or behind a group

How to reset S-PIN after 3.2 update

I just had my software updated from 2.4 to 3.2. All went fine apparently but when I got in the car it said I had to login. So I scanned the Q code and logged in. Everything fine. Next time I get in the car it wants an S-PIN to get into the car info screen. I can’t remember ever setting one up. You o...

Why can’t you have heated seats on when charging car?

Why can’t you have heated seats on when charging car? Or is it just my car?

Heating and heated seats coming on by themselves

Not sure if anyone has had this problem but my heating and heated seats keep coming on by themselves. As soon as I turn them off it comes back on. It’s only on the driver side so I think the touch temp button on the dash may be broken or it’s a software problem. I’m still on 2.4 so was going to take...

Do East Derry have locking wheel nut?

Having all 4 tyres changed this week for 18” Cross Climate 2 at Kwik Fit. Done 16k on the Bridgestones which I thought was pretty good compared to others I have seen on here.

Can’t remember getting any wheel nut when buying the car last March. Should I have one?

Re: For octopus customers

Weird really as it’s a little inconsistent. I have a Hypervolt charger. I’ll call octopus this week and feed back to everyone here. I think you can qualify by having either an approved car or an approved charger. The id3 has not been “approved” up to now, but it sounds as though that may have just ...

How to heat side mirrors?

I have tried using the knob to point to the heated side mirror sign (bottom right) but it doesn’t light up or seem to do anything. Do all ID3’s come with heated side mirrors? Mine is a life.

Looking at the current VW website I can’t see any of the current models mention heated side mirrors.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

So I have had the 2.4 update and new battery. How do you you get 3.0? Is there a way to force the car to look for the update OTA?

Re: Delivery time

Picked up my Life on Saturday (26th March). Really impressed with it. Finding the range is much better than I expected even now it’s gotten colder.

It arrived in the country on 1st March but took them until 22nd to deliver it to the dealer.

Utumno If you could update the spreadsheet. Thanks

Should there be an installation certificate for EV charger

I had a Zappi charger installed last week and have been sent the invoice. I was told be the install team that I should have an installation certificate. What is the install certificate for? Should they have given me this before I pay the invoice?

Re: Turning Off Lane Assist

Is there a YouTube video showing how lane assist can take control? Is it really as bad as you are all saying? Also is it standard on all ID3 models? Ordered the Life pro so hoping this is not on as sounds like a right pain to deactivate it every time. On my wife Jaguar E-Pace, the steering wheel jus...

Re: Delivery time

Was updated yesterday regarding my order of my Life Pro. It’s left the factory. So looks like good news for any of you with Life with build week 49 I would think. Feel free to add my details to the spreadsheet @Utumno ID3 Life Pro Makena Turquoise East Derry alloys Ordered - 05/11/2021 Order no: 313...

Re: Range issues

The issue here is that VW have changed the heating temp threshold to zero from 8 degrees in the very latest cars to roll out of the factory. But updating this to existing cars isn’t happening yet - and will most likely occur in spring… 🤦‍♂️ 😁 Is this change in heating temp threshold to zero a good ...

So how far is a short journey? In other words how long does it take for the battery to warm up? Is time based or distance?

Re: EV Wallbox charger, which one?

Ok thanks.

I went on the myenergi website and didn’t realise there is a zappi 1 and a zappi 2. On octopus and other sites it does give you the option. What’s the difference? Are they just selling zappi 2’s now?

Does car charging and have heated seats and AC on for hours hurt battery?

My daughter swims 6 times a week and therefore my car is often setting in the carpark for 2 to 3 hours each time. With my ICE atm I don’t have the engine because of the fumes but was thinking of using a free charge point there or if that’s taken one nearby. So does charging and have heated seats and...

Thanks for the replies. How is the Zappi connected to your wifi? I’m hoping it’s wireless
