In have found it necessary to slam the boot lid shut.
Soft closing the boot lid looks OK, but I found I could still move it up a few mm. Slamming the boot lid closes it absolutely tight and solved my unexpected alarm issues.

Try double clicking the open button on the key fob, let me know if that works.

Hi, I have just charged my ID3 (called Heidi by the way) at home to 80%, it gives the range as just over 180 miles. Assuming you don't want to run the battery flat just down to 10% charge, that reduces the usable range to about 160 miles, or 80 miles (129 km) out and 80 miles (129km) back. Regards S...
