The indicator, when you tap it up, it clicks for a few seconds. When you push it up, it stays on until you turn or turn it off.
To move, the screen needs to indicate that you can move and you tap it.

Re: Automatic lane change with Travel Assist - how does it work?
Press on the indicator causes the car to lane change. By "press" do you mean setting the indicator fully on (as you would for a junction) – or tapping it on (as you would do to indicate briefly) ? It's been a while, but I think it's a light tap, and it only works on the motorways with an ...

Re: Limit speed with Travel Assist
To be honest, I wasn’t sure what Travel assist did, until I read this and some other posts. To be fair the title of the post is incorrect, but still makes sense. OP probably does have travel assist, but they are talking about Adaptive Cruise Control. Travel assist will steer the car down a road usi...

Re: Limit speed with Travel Assist
You can get it to ignore signs in the menu, but that is likely to hinder rather than help as you will _always_ be adjusting the speed. The car will keep the limit until it thinks the limit has changed. As an example, you go into a 50Mph rural road. You set the car to 40MPH. If you go past six 50 sig...

Feel free to ignore because this is 3.2, but my wife occasionally said this, then noticed she was catching the buttons when getting into the car. So not saying it's not a bug, but it does sound similar to her complaint.

Re: 2023/24 INSURANCE RENEWAL PRICES
I have read that EV insurance premiums have pretty much doubled and I am fearing the same when mine comes up for renewal in a few weeks. My understanding is that it is mostly down to the much higher repair costs for EVs experienced by insurers and actually I find that credible. Repairs on the elect...

My motorcycle insurance renewal was a very positive experience this year, but more than a scratch and the 125 Honda would just be written off.

Re: 2023/24 INSURANCE RENEWAL PRICES
Just been online and had a quote from VW insurance. I don’t need insurance at the moment as I renewal isn’t due to August next year but wanted to know. I think it’s very reasonable. Just to let you know, I couldn't purchase my "saved" quote after I'd made a new one quote 25ish days later....

Re: Tronity subscription - or not?
Professional seems to be specifically for company cars, but it does give you the ability to do your company car and personal car, so with two cars and a 50% discount, that's the only reason to do professional. I've liked the stats and the graphs and £30 is hardly breaking the bank. I'm going to keep...

The configurator says that Assistance comes with the reversing camera and Driver Assistance Pack Plus comes with the Area camera, just as before.

Octopus can generate cheap rates at any time of the day. Did you take a note of what times Octopus told you the car would charge?

My best quote was with https://www.insurewithvolkswagen.co.uk/car-insurance, which is obviously quite specific to me and my car.
I haven't ever seen it on a comparison site, so probably worth trying.

Re: Octopus intelligent query
My recommendation would be the charger. The network connection for your charger should be much more reliable than the SIM card in the car.
I'm using the car, but looking forward to swapping to the Zappi.

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes
Might just be my setup, but just be aware that you may have to remember to turn off the “battery care” setting when wanting to charge to 100%. First time I did a 100% charge, it failed due to that setting. Was that because there were multiple charging blocks? Battery care _should_ let you charge to...

Re: Certificates
We can only have one certificate installed at a time, it appears. Or am I missing something? We Charge, and Electroverse can't play together. Sounds perfectly right to me. If you just plug in and it works, that means you have already chosen the company to organise it. I haven't tried it, but if you...

Re: Powering A Dashcam
What is the camera, or what is the power connection on the camera? I'd be surprised if the actual port is not a mini usb a (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardw ... ectors.svg). Then you'd just need a C-A Mini converter and don't need to convert 5V > 12V > 5V.

Re: Plug & Charge disappeared from the app?
Mine says I still have a third part certificate installed, but the app shows a getting started style screen. I think there is a place in the car to see you have a valid certificate, presumably that is all that matters.
