Re: Clicking all night long

My car wasn't affected, no loss of battery at all. I've taken it offline just in case. I do wonder if it is only affecting cars that have been driven recently, not used mine since Saturday.

Re: ID3 and Osprey Kempower chargers.

For the Osprey units RFID touch point is higher up the charger and not the same place as the credi/debit card touch point. Hope this helps. I made this mistake at the Banbury site Was all OK with that aspect, ta. Basically what happened was that we went through the process, with RFID, contactless a...

Re: ID3 and Osprey Kempower chargers.

Thanks for the reply. Will have a try of that method when I get a chance, will make sure it's not 'mission critical' to my journey though. This was at Banbury as well, which doesn't have the best alignment for the ID3 as the cable is stretched, which aligns with what you've said. Time to search out ...

ID3 and Osprey Kempower chargers.

Has anyone else had any issues using these chargers? I can never seem to get them to work properly. Follow the instructions shown on the screen and it ends up in a charging error. I've read elsewhere that the order should be reversed ie insert the charger then go through the payment process. Has any...

Re: Octopus not so intelligent

Yes, I had to wait until Ohme was compatible before signing up to Intelligent.

I do wonder now though if I would have problems with 3.2, as I think the charger stops the session rather than pause it.

I'm signed up through the Ohme charger, not the car. It works fine.

Re: Octopus not so intelligent

I did read a comment on a EV Nick youtube video that said 3.2 has broken Intelligent charging. This is because the car is not liking the pauses that take place. It sees them as a charging error and wont restart after a pause. I'm still on 2.4 and its working fine, I'm in no rush to get 3.2.

Re: OVO Charge Anytime EV - how does it work?

Octopus Intelligent will link with the WeConnect API provided the car is on 3.0 or above. I have a Ohme homepro charger (car is on 2.4) so Octopus connect to that instead.

Re: For octopus customers

From the replies I've read on this thread everyone who has successfully switched has an Ohme charger. The other way it will work is if the car has 3.0, which very few have, then any charger should work. The website states any vehicle with an Ohme, and I've had that confirmed by Octopus via Twitter. ...

Re: Ohme pro charger help

I have the same charger. At the moment it has lost access to the ID3 API so is charging as a "dumb" charger. I've raised a ticket with Ohme help and they've confirmed it's at VW's end, this may also explain some of the issues I've been having with Wecharge app connectivity. Before this we ...

Re: WeConnect network outage - again

The app seems to be working ok for me, have been able to turn on the air con remotely, which has been useful for defrosting the windscreen. However, my Ohme charger is currently not able to connect to my car to give me current state of charge, so at at the moment it has reverted to being a dumb char...

My recently delivered car has no cover for the type 2 connector, is this correct? I'm sure the hire car I had last year had one.

One tip that has been mentioned before but worth saying again - check the tyre pressures. Looked at mine this morning and they were 10 bar over the recommendation!
I hope they weren't! PSI? ;)

Car delivered yesterday so can be marked off on the spreadsheet. One tip that has been mentioned before but worth saying again - check the tyre pressures. Looked at mine this morning and they were 10 bar over the recommendation! Will get some pictures up soon now that I've put the imported hubcaps on.
