Re: Am I better off just ignoring range completely or is it a g)itch in the app

Its a well known glitch.

The simplest and easiest way to "fix" it for good is simply to change the app to km.

User icon in the bottom right - App Settings - Units - Distance change to Kilometres.

Re: The word "Snow" in individual settings

Usually its in the settings for the HUD. It changes the speed display from white to blue so you can see it easier if there is snow on the road.

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

Absolutely agree, this could be a design safety issue? And should have been considered during initial design rather than just moving the dashboard, and, oh, and steering wheel which they got Right!! Just noticed the second gen version hassent changed! Or maybe take the route Tesla have done with so...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

There is a lot to be said for the design of the Born, as you have pointed out, and I do like it. But, SWMBO hates the bronze bits on the bodywork. I still can’t really fathom why I preferred my ID3 at the time. Maybe I should take another look when I am ready to look at changing the car? My ID3 doe...

Re: Weconnect app change

Mine still is We Connect ID on Android, Yes, I know about that setting. If I go into it and change the setting to kilometres, it then shows the correct miles figure. It does rectify itself (sometimes) when I unlock the car and drive away, but not always. This issue mainly shows immediately after cha...

Re: Let’s see your ID.3 and post your positives with the car.

Did a lot of people get the grey colour by choice? Or was it due to availability? Just wondering. A bit of a half and half really. I wanted a nice electric blue one, but they only done the stonewashed blue, which im not a fan of. So of the available colours the ID3 just looks best in grey, its also...

And here, just beside the charger we see the lesser spotted Pro S, feeding on surplus sunshine. car feeding.jpg Drives really well Range is absolutely outstanding (though wait till winter to see how much it drops off) Seats are fantastic, i love the memory and massage function Hud is great but its a...

Re: Confused to hell and back.

I find it much easier just to set the charge time (in my case on the zappi the "boost" time) on the charger.
this works for either timed charging on the ID3 or the LEAF so its just so much simpler.

Re: Boat Watching

Out of interest have you had any luck with yours yet? My dealer (Pullman) is awful at keeping me updated. I understand my car was due to arrive at Tyne on 30th May, but there are delays getting the cars out of the Port, which seems to go against what was said above about local dealers getting the c...

Nothing to do with fun but the last one i found was the traction contol disable setting. Very handy when driving on the snow we have at the moment in the UK. Did i mention its nothing at all to do with fun.

Re: What was the first setting you changed when you got your ID.3?

I dont really remember the initial ones, but i bought the OBDeleven to set the Lane assist to remember my last setting so i dont have to keep turning it off, which it now does so its not so bad on the country roads around Cumbria. The next one was to stop the car locking itself as soon as it gets to...

Re: Seat change?

Hi, As far as I know, only the 77kWh battery ID3's do not have the centre fold rear seats. I think this is due to the larger battery taking up space under the rear seats. Do you have three seatbelts in the rear? If so then my answer is incorrect and I'm sure someone else will be able to answer. The...

Re: Space saver question

do you already have the space saver from the Golf? if not the one from the wheel shop works really well. Doesnt quite fit into the space under the boot but its very close, the seperator sits on the runners rather than in them, its really not a bad fit to be honest.

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes

Similar story for me with a Zappi since I signed up a month or so ago. 1. Zappi in fast mode. 2. Plug in. 3. Stop charge via We Connect. 4. Let Intelligent Octopus do its thing. If I dont intervene (step 3) it just charges as soon as I plug in. Currently exchanging Twitter messages with Octopus Cus...
