Re: Delivery time

Allow 6 weeks for build and 6 weeks for shipping/delivery, so ~3 months from confirmed build week. It may come sooner or later, but these are useful averages. As many have noticed, VW are getting better recently at build times. I would definitely say they're getting better at build times. My Cupra ...

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11

Only problem I found is it didn’t take long before it was beeping and telling me to put my hands back on the wheel, then it started to slow the car and activate the hazards, wasn’t until I got home I checked the menu and found option in LA to turn this off. So as said it’s not perfect but very cool...

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11

Lane assist tries to keep you in the middle of a lane all the time, but conveniently ignores or doesn't see the thing you're going wide to avoid e.g a parked car, or cone narrowing a lane during roadworks, nudging you back towards it. Yes I had that exact issue on a test drive, I overtook a cyclist...

Bucket seats are in all trims, just the material is different (nicer) for V3.

I'm also very keen to learn if this module works for enabling travel assist on the Born.

Re: Pod Point question

This is interesting. If I change the name of all my extenders to the same name as my SKY router as I move around the house/ workshop/ garden/charge point, a device will just connect to the strongest signal? Is that what you mean? The extenders are great but it's a pain having to disconnect and then...

Re: Pod Point question

So I change the name of the new TP LINK to the same as the old one? Is it that simple? I thought there would be a unique ref/code. Yes it really is that simple. By this mechanism, you can run multiple access points with the same SSID and key and your devices *should* be able to switch between them ...

Re: Cost of insurance.

For what it's worth we were coming from a 1.6 petrol Astra (which we traded in) and a diesel VRS Octavia (still have); the ID3 is more expensive than either of them to insure. I was a bit surprised it was more than the Octavia but we are still only talking £400 for both of us on it. I think it's pr...
