Re: Use of BP Pulse charger with We Charge Plus card

Hi, does anyone have any experience using the We Charge subscription recently? Does the card work for you? I have the card and the app with a subscription but the card is not recognised at Bp Pulse or Shell. I have to call Bp to connect and disconnect the charger. They are saying the issue is with ...

Re: Would you order another ID3?

I would buy another VW on 1 condition -I buy directly from them and never have to use the dealers (Tesla style). I honestly believe I would have had a better experience if I didn't have to go through my dealer. It will also need a bigger battery. I think 90+ kw. You quickly realise that charging to ...

Re: Tyres, Jack and repair kit anomaly

The brochure can say anything it wants but once you pay a deposit and sign the paperwork, you have entered into a contract with them to supply what you have bought. A way out for them would be to provide something of similar value or equivalence. I asked for them to fit another brand of self sealing...

Re: Bridgestone Turanza Enliten tyres

When I initially ordered my ID3, I only specced the blue colour. 2 days later, my salesperson (a real crook at Heritage Bristol) calls me and says I need to upgrade to alloys which come with self sealing tyres. He goes on about how the battery means I can't have a spare in the boot and I'll be stuck...

Re: Tyres, Jack and repair kit anomaly

Are there other run-flat tyres from other manufactures which are compatible? VW should just incur the cost and fit Michelins or Continentals or Pirellis

I have the same issue -ordered airstop and car delivered without airstop or puncture kit. VW are deciding what to do...

Re: snags post delivery

Just had another call off the dealer, apparently they don't ship with the tyre compresser and fluid as tyres self heal apparently. I've ordered one on eBay anyway. If your tyre doesn't say Airstop or has a B-Seal logo, it doesn't self heal. Im in the process of asking for 4 new tyres as mine aren't...

Re: Coming up to 1.5 years with the ID3

I agree with some of these comments. I will add; 1. The handling isn't great compared to my previous car (Golf GT MK8). I find the ID3 too wallowy and less stable especially on motorways. Put your foot down and the front almost floats in the air as you're pulling away. It's difficult to make a car t...

Re: Use of BP Pulse charger with We Charge Plus card

I've had the worst experience with BP Pulse and oddly enough, the best experience with Pod Point. I have the £2.99 (old price) We Charge subscription and the last 2 times I have tried to use a BP Pulse charger, they both failed (In Bristol & London). I keep getting the message "card not acc...

Re: WeConnectID app (iOS) broken?

I’ve had lots of hassle with this app (through 3 versions) since September. I’ve 7 call reference/log numbers with ELLi and no solution. My main hassle is that I’m unable to select a payment plan, though I’ve too experienced the issues you mention along with others. Pretty pissed with Weconnect and...

Re: Battery and range

Mine is 2 weeks old and on 3.2 but the battery is fairly accurate. Charged to 98%, drove 120 miles (100 on motorway) and arrived with 50%. I found the predicted range very accurate. At 65mph on the motorway, its a fairly constant 4.0-4.2 miles per kWh Is that a 77kWh battery? Seems exceptional if i...

Re: Delivery time

I told my dealer I was fed up with pointless updates and only to update me if there was significant news. They emailed to say it was on its way, and then again a week later (last week) to collect it. It's on version 3.2. Still getting to know some of the features etc. P.s The infotainment is slightl...

Re: Contacting Volkswagen

Ha ha. Read my posts and you'll realise it's business as usual for VW to do this. Best advice is to contact VW customer service and just deal with them -they will liaise with the dealer but will give them deadlines when they need to respond by. In my case, my local VW also ignored them and didn't re...

Re: Delivery time

Just in regards to your comment about losing the grant, I have visited my dealer and questioned him several times about the fact it is nearly 12 months since I ordered and so the grant will lapse and no longer be eligible. He keeps telling me not to worry and that the grant will still be okay to be...

Re: Delivery time

Has anyone been able to figure exactly what happens to the government grant after 12 months? I have a lease agreement with Octopus and nobody, not the dealer, not VW Exec office seem to know or don't want to tell me, but it does seem to be driving my delivery date so I assume money at risk, but not...

I can’t seem to get a meaningful update from them at the moment. According to the spreadsheet I ordered my ID.3 the seve...

Re: Delivery time

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while and following this thread and joined just to say that I ordered my Family Pro Performance in Moonstone Grey with East Derry alloys on November 4th 2021. My car was originally due in April, but that got pushed and pushed, finally to September. I was then no...
