Re: Accessing head unit control behind glovebox
Just found this online, You just need to carefully squeeze the hinge stops on the glove box door (both sides simultaneously) and fold the door down to 6 o clock position. It will then simply unhook giving access to various electronics modules. Th infotainment module is then visible. A simple plastic...

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11
Had a run on the motorway today, travel assist works perfectly, resting just one hand on the wheel kept the dreaded warning at bay, other half took a pic of the expanded display.

Re: Park assist plus (born)
Thank you that’s the vid I noticed it, but when I’m in park assist mode I don’t see the symbol that does the memory bit.
Wondering if it’s just reserved for Id models.
Had a look in the handbook both from car and online but it doesn’t mention park assist at all even though my car has it.

Park assist plus (born)
When we ordered we opted for the tech l pack that includes park assist plus, so I assumed it would have the memory parking that id3 has, but I don’t think it does.
Has anyone got this on a Uk id3 please, and if yes how do you activate it.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11
And as MotMot says I think you also need to swipe right to make the screen full size for this to show.

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11
Only problem I found is it didn’t take long before it was beeping and telling me to put my hands back on the wheel, then it started to slow the car and activate the hazards, wasn’t until I got home I checked the menu and found option in LA to turn this off. So as said it’s not perfect but very cool...

Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11
Ok so did coding today on the Born and can confirm it works. Did a short run so didn’t get to use it for long but on a two mile stretch of slightly twisty bypass it kept the car in the middle of the lane. Only problem I found is it didn’t take long before it was beeping and telling me to put my hand...
