Update. Did a charge last night with the setting at 32 amps, no problems. It charged from 44% to 80% in 3 hours 12 minutes at a cost of £1.86 . Very happy with this charger.

The cabling/installation etc was done by a professional company, Smart Home Charge, and was done to a high standard, so I don't see any reason why it should not handle the higher amperage.
