Re: FITCAMX dash cam for iD3
Apologies for the lack of response. I don’t look so much as I’ve had the MG4 for 6 month. Yes it’s still available, boxed and in new condition. I’m open to offers.

Re: What's its value ...and how to sell
Thanks monkeyhanger, yes I read those on the forums too. Oil problem has affected enough cars to have a retrofit kit installed and undertray likewise but I’ll be looking for them on handover. 🤞after waiting for 6 weeks to get my iD3 back from the 2.4 software upgrade and longer for a coolant leak I’...

Re: What's its value ...and how to sell
I’ve just swapped my iD3 performance pro for an mg4 trophy LR due to the trade in being over 3k more than I paid for it. Prices are falling quite quickly at the moment though. Not every day you can move a 2 yr old car for a new one so I had to do it. I was worried about bills after the warranty on i...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
They offered it without question when I pointed out this was a “no cost” upgrade. I just received a delivery of chocolates, a case of wine and flowers by way of apology for the delay. Very impressed with Marshall VW dealer customer relations! Not so with the VW soft/firmware service to the dealers.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
Mine Went in aug for 2.4, just got it back today 4 weeks later and they informed me there’s another recall just come through from VW needing it to go to a high voltage authorised centre. No details other than recall will involve AA picking it up. …….. for info I had a petrol t-roc courtesy car, no i...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
Mine is in next week. They booked it in for a day!! Reception said they’ve just done one ok. Local dealer branch shut down 4 months ago so it’s a 70 mile round trip. No ev courtesy car available either so I’ll probably be stung for fuel . Never had a courtesy car with more than an egg cup full of fu...

Re: api compatible wall chargers ?
Not had that issue so far so I can’t give you a definitive answer. I know my drive area is not good for reception but it’s not failed yet. Try it and see, doesn’t cost anything.

Re: api compatible wall chargers ?
Ohme now supports SOC from id3 via we connect id. Works fine. I’ve set 80% charge daily. Just plug in when needed amd ohme app reads SOC , adjust charging to suit in octopus go window.

Re: Coolant leak
4 weeks later and a change of story, waiting for parts from Germany on indefinite order. So it sounds like the same problem as Id3se describes. I contacted VW executive a couple of weeks ago and they have been chasing things , arranging another hire car etc. Today I heard from a genuinely very helpf...

Ne lincs to Brighton suggestion for charger
I’m about to do a first long trip from n.e. Lincs down to Brighton and wondered if anyone who does the run up/down A1 M1 etc has any advice on the best charging stops. I’ve used Zap-Map and ABRP but it’s not the same as getting practical advice.

Re: Storage options sunglasses
I 3d printed a tray for the centre console which fits on the dividers. It holds coins in slots and has 2 compartments one of which is ideal for sunglasses.

Coolant leak
The Id3 is in the dealers garage again. This time it was a loss of coolant , about a litre in 2 weeks altogether. quick search and I haven’t seen this mentioned on the forum. The repair meant removing some pipe work from below. After the local dealers found the leak they said they don’t have the equ...

Re: Nearside rear dripping leak (and hello!)
It may not be related but my Id3 is in the workshop after loosing coolant. I’d noticed the coolant level dropped by 200ml so topped it up only to see it drop again after a few days. Short story, local dealer found a leak but it needed the heat pump coolant degassing. No equipment locally, it’s been ...

Re: Collecting our 1st EV on Wednesday
Enjoy. Yes it’s true there are problems, mines going in today for a coolant leak repair, but it’s a good car to drive and most of the main things have been fixed, I hope. most forums are full of negative comments with a smattering of positive.

Re: Range issues
I’m getting 1.9-2.1m/kwhr at the moment with a heat pump. Lower than last winter by a significant amount. Mostly short journeys but the same applied last year and it was in the 3’s
