This is what it shows in the app when I try to switch on Battery Care mode
Battery care mode is distinct and separate from battery optimisation.

Re: Strange battery temperature sensor readings

I would suspect that sensor of being wrong. Two other modules will be adjacent, if their temperature readings are the same, and the same as the distant modules, it is probably just something to note, rather than to take the pack apart to correct. I'm no expert on that, but have some practice in look...

But after researching, it seems you will likely need to change the battery pack after 10 years or so....
Would you indicate the authoritative sources involved, please?
Or sources.

Re: Loss of range when parked?

Losing charge is not really expected of Lithium batteries. Using power when parked is slightly different. I don't think it uses much. The 12V battery is an older technology, and I suppose powers most of the things that might be left on or wake up when parked. The setting to allow it to be topped up ...

Re: Zappi always charging at 7.4kw even in eco /eco+

That panel is showing 9.5kW going out, but none generated from solar panels. Odd. Is there a current sensor the wrong way round, or a redaction, or a big battery being flattened? Why is that odd? It may not have a generation clamp fitted. Mine doesn't. I think a solar installation that can charge t...

Re: Zappi always charging at 7.4kw even in eco /eco+

Hi I have a 2023 ID3, Zappi with home solar and battery storage. Whenever I set the Zappi to either Eco or Eco+ to take advantage of excess solar or nighttime tariff, the Zappi still charges at 7.4kw, even if it says eco or Eco+. Has anyone had experience of this/knows how to get it to charge at th...

Re: Good Energy EV Tarriff

If you tell the car when you want it charged up - to 80% or whatever - then it'll do most of that in the hours before that time. If your cheap period ends at, say, 0500, then tell the car you want it charged for 0500 and leave it plugged in. Change the default "charge to 80% immediately" o...

Re: ID3 Adaptive Cruise Control speed intrusion

I think the granularity of the map might be a problem, where the road one is on is crossed by, adjacent to, or just occasionally over or under one with a different limit. Time for driver control then, I think. It is possible to alter the set speed while still leaving it adaptive by stroking the thum...

Octopus is one of the suppliers cooperating with the Cooperatives Ripple Energy has set up and is setting up. E.On is another. The 4th project is to be a rather large windfarm on the Scottish side of the Border, the third which is the one I have a share in is solar at Derril Water in (North) Devon -...

£9k covers a lot of

Batteries will get cheaper, modules will be available, life will generally become easier with time, not harder. And given the choice between wear and tear on the driver vs ...

Re: Location data deactivated in vehicle?

Is there a save or synchronise step there?
Is the state in the app on your smartphone different from the one you are setting in the car? If so setting both, and/or deleting and reinstalling the app, might cure the resetting.

I had the message, but didn't notice any anomaly. Perhaps a matter of where one drives at the critical period.

I suppose somewhere there is a phone bill to pay, but I'd also assume it is going to be a bulk one, not even per car.

Re: ID3 battery recall class/group action

Hi, I am only getting around 118-133 on a full charge and pretty slow charging. Is this normal? Do you charge to 100% often? It isn't recommended and the last part of it is noticeably slower than the 20-80% charging. It is useful if you have a journey that you can comfortably do on 100% but not on ...

Re: Dashcams: Position; power

I've stuck it above and left of the mirror, just missing the area with the half-toning. Seems to work. Tried plugging it in to one of the front USB-C sockets, works, the wire obviously needs to be repositioned. Currently using the 12V socket in the boot with the supplied long cable. Ditto. I have my...

Re: Dashcams: Current preferred dashcam please?

I've fitted the FitcamX made specifically for the iD3 - Forward facing but it requires no wiring, no power wiring - look it up on google or better still youtube. In short, you unclip the housing under the rear view mirror and put that to one side - the camera comes ready installed in a new housing ...
