Re: Recommended upper charging limit
Thamks for that. Checking, the car was set to charge to 100% even though the app was to 80%. Now fixed in the car.

Befuddled with charging system
My wife's car is a lovely car to drive but it causes her to drive me nuts over available miles. She hates to be done out of a penny even so you can just imagine what she's like when having spent over 35k on a new car she finds that it never shows the full 260 miles after being charged. Can any one s...

Re: Recommended upper charging limit
Ours is set at 80% max in the app. I've just had to unplug the car at 91% because it has kept on charging. I cant see a way to stop it charging in the app either. Strangely, the app and the car both say 91% and 219 miles but that would be 240 at 100%. How can this be? Did you have the car controlli...

Missing Grid Lines From Camera
Grid lines just disappeared. They were there, now they're not. Can't find how to turn on/off in digital manual, there again I can rarely navigate this with much success. I can't find answer by googling so i've come to the font of all knowledge. Who can tell me how to get these back and where to find...

Re: PCP financing
Thanks for all the replies. One more question What's the best way to tell them that you're withdrawing from the finance agreement? Their website says phone or write. I'm looking for the quickest way that is most certain. I'm sure I've seen someone mention triggering this on their website but cant r...

Re: PCP financing
So is their a definitive or legal time within which you can pay off pcp without incurring interest or penalty? I've seen one month, 14 days and before first payment quoted. It is 14 days to inform VWFS that you want to withdraw from your finance plan. Once they accept your withdrawal (and tell you ...

Re: Totally dead
I reckon the systems are just not developed enough to rely on single power source. I'm sure that we'll see the demise of an auxiliary battery in the not too distant future.

Re: Totally dead
I'm a bit bemused as to why you need a lead acid battery. Its adding all that extra weight and taking up space. If vw felt the need for extra electric capacity why did they not put in a slightly higher rated main battery. I'm sure any need for reserve power, segregation of supply and voltage differe...
