Re: Battery Recall Fix: Your experiences before and after
Hi Ben I have a 2021 pro performance 58KW battery, purchased 6 months ago. Mine needed battery module 8 to be replaced. The battery issue was picked up after a software update to version 3.0. Yes your right regards how it affects your car with premature discharge and reduced range. Two good things, ...

Re: Cornering Light Message Fault
Hi What software version are you running? My advice would be to ensure you are running 3.2 as many of the earlier issues have been ironed out. Also it will throw up any battery/drive issues. I had to go through a bit of pain getting my pro performance sorted, all completed by the dealer under warran...

Re: Optimised battery use on/off
My google skills are evading me, it was asked on spealev.com but with no real answer.... What does this switch do? IMG_8425.jpg If you think of an internal combustion car, the engine charges the battery using the alternator while the car is running. If you don’t use the car for long periods of time...

Re: end of PCP/ missing items query
Good morning all I bought my ID3 Pro Performance in April 2021 on a 3-year PCP deal. I've decided to hand the car back rather than take the other options. As part of the inspection for damage etc, there is a charge for missing items. VWFS want to charge £354 for a missing charging lead, which they ...

Re: Dashcams: Current preferred dashcam please?
I've fitted the FitcamX made specifically for the iD3 - Forward facing but it requires no wiring, no power wiring - look it up on google or better still youtube. In short, you unclip the housing under the rear view mirror and put that to one side - the camera comes ready installed in a new housing ...

Re: Does your car make you smile?
A big yes, I have the 2021 pro performance 62KW bat. It delivers that EV instant torque very smoothly and effortlessly. You can feel the weight currently with EV’s but hopefully that will improve in time. Any 1st generation product will have problems, and as VW don’t do software, they were let down ...

Hi
I upgraded my seats with some premium car seat covers purchased from eBay. They’re about £80 but well made and fit the current seats really well. I’ve included some pics of the item and shots of them fitted in my car
