Re: Shuffle play from an iPhone in Airplay mode does not work properly

Yes, I have exactly the same issue when I want to play the songs for an Album in order. It reverts back to the global song order.

I’ve had to remove the Albums from my phone which are not suitable for my kids due to this!

Re: D Mode braking inconsistent

Is that 1 in 10 occasion maybe when the car has a high state of charge? when fully or near fully charged there is no or little capacity in the battery pack for any regen so any braking takes more physically energy. Pretty sure it won’t be as the last time was when I was nearly home so would have be...

Good question. It’s not related though, I rarely use ACC.

Re: D Mode braking inconsistent

I usually drive in B mode because I thought the brakes in D mode seemed weak and you have to break more than you think. Does surprise me at times. I want to use D mode more so I think it’s something I need to get used to and more confident with. Hopefully those who prefer to drive in D mode will be...

Re: D Mode braking inconsistent

At really low speeds the car always wants to "creep", whatever mode one is in, and it can be unsettling that light pedal pressure doesn't seem to do anything. Is that what you're experiencing? I really think it’s different. I have a good idea what the creep feels like now and this is what...

D Mode braking inconsistent

Every so often when braking in D mode the brakes feel very weak. I have to press really hard even when it happens at slow speed. Thankfully it hasn’t really happened at faster speeds. It happened the very first time I drove the car and I thought it must be them needing bed in. But then after that I ...

Re: Skoda Enyaq One Month In

That’s a great update thanks. Does it feel much bigger or heavier to drive. I remember Sidehaas saying the ID.4 was noticeably different. The steering is light and lacks any feedback, but then, it's not the kind of car that requires that. It feels much quicker than the ID3, and it is. It isn't as e...

Re: Dashcams: Current preferred dashcam please?

I ended up with a NextBase - not the most recent one - with a rear eyeball. I ran wires, but rather than wiring it into the fusebox, I just used the 12V socket in the boot. Hiding some more of the wire is firmly in my when I get around to it list. Works OK. I did a similar thing. Went for a Miofive...

Re: Hey ID....turn climate control on (please..)

In the car today and found that you can turn AC on and off with voice control. Also, I noticed that if you try and turn off Climate control when it’s already off you get the same response saying it’s not available. So I wonder if it’s a bug. Oh....so it worked and then it didn't work ? That's odd. ...

Re: Another ID.3 Newbie, ex Peugeot e-208

Welcome to the forum. Glad you’re enjoying it!

I think in the summer I was able to get well over 4m/kwh, maybe around 4.5 or a bit higher at times. From what I worked out it would need to be near 5 to get the claimed range.

Re: Newbie to ID.3

Welcome to the forum. On the size front I still haven’t got used to the very short front end. I think I’m close to the kerb when turning out my drive but have bags of room.

One minor tip, it’s rear wheel drive and can be quite eager when it’s wet!

Re: Further updates after 3.7

Do you know if it changes the longer number in system info in vehicle settings in the infotainment at all? Or is there any other way to tell if you have had the update? No, the software version in system information remains the same; 1751. The only control module that gets updated is the inverter; ...

Re: Software Update

You don’t really have any control over the updates (apart from the consent mentioned above). They can roll them out gradually to cars or if it’s more involved then it’s a dealer update. There’s a few other threads here on folk now getting to 3.7 but I don’t think there are really that many improveme...
