I bought some spacers on eBay but the centre bore was too tight despite despite being "57.1mm" clearly it wasn't, so they were returned, as I too found out the wheel just touched the front caliper.

The tiguan spare will fit perfectly on the back but you need a 3mm spacer to clear calipers on the front. You can strap it down in the boot with the tie down hooks with a ratchet strap. Have you bought a spacer yet? I have the 145/80/18" Tiguan skinny space saver spare as well (chosen as the c...
