Re: First EV
Nice one! The Cheshire Cat made an appearance with me, within a few hundred yards of my initial drive. Analogue to digital driving is the feeling - they're just nicer, better and easier to drive, for me. I'm a million miles from being an expert but the best winter tip I can give you is to use two fi...

Re: Charge at Preferred Times not working
I had some issues with the car not talking to the charger. I contacted Indra and they suggested turning off the Privacy settings in the car in order for the car to wake up when you plug the charger in - there's no charging settings set up in the car or app and no Home location set, so I'm guessing t...

Re: Next car after ID.3
I’m very tempted to have a good look at the BYD. Looks a lot of car for the money. You're not on your own. They sold 1.6 million BEVs, last year. I think their biggest issue over here is the lack of dealerships but, they're saying they are going to be expanding. Chatting with one of the sales staff...

Re: So long and thanks for all the fish..
Please forgive my cocked-up attempts at editing my previous post... 😁 It's good to hear about your positive Motability experience, in the thirty years I've been with them they've improved the scheme enormously (you used to have to pay for hand-controls and the choices and advanced payments are so mu...

I also have to compliment the forum as the info available and the empathy displayed whilst waiting for our ID3 to be built. We ordered August 21 and received in April 23. We are also moving on as I now use a wheelchair, we love the ID3. However choosing between my wheels or clothing when we go away...

Re: ID.3 58 KW range
HI to all! For the ID.3 58 KW, theoretically, for a range of 400 km it should make an average of 58 / 4 = 14.5 KWh/100km, correct? Does it mean battery degradation if for a range of 400 KM the average has to be less than 14.5 KWh/100km? thank you Arnaldo The thing that affects the range the most, i...

OMG last 5 day range hit 130 miles at 100%.this is shocking.what the hell is this .local dealer say they not find anything wrong.normaly I get 235 miles.any advice. This is motability id3. If it's the app saying it, it's because it thinks the miles figure is km so it converts that figure "back...

Re: Which charger?
For what it's worth, I've got an Indra Smart Pro and I'm on OVO (who have just reduced their EV tariff to 7p per kwh) . It's been very reliable and tbh it means I don't have to rely on setting any schedules in the car (I set it up through Indra) because my trust in VW software is nil. You said you ...

Re: Which charger?
OVO are installing the panels
Could it be that way for Non-OVO panels customers? I've been on their EV tariff for a while and they haven't said there will be any problems after the panels have gone up, but I'll give them a shout just to check, cheers.

Re: If you could have ONE feature
Longer range in winter. And if I could have two features the second would be physical buttons to switch AC, heated seats and heated steering wheel on/off with one touch each. Use two fingers, sorry it's not one!, and tap the hot and cold temperature "buttons" at the same time. That turns ...

Hi My energy supplier is Ovo. Ovo have their own cheap EV rates (Ovo anytime). It has its own app. My new charger, an Ohme Pro fitted yesterday, has an app too. So, do people on here use their energy app or charger app to charge their cars? Thanks Rob Hello there, I'm an OVO customer with an Indra ...

Re: Considering ID.3 Max Pro
Hello there, You're coming in to this with your eyes wide open whereas some people came in to this with a head full of promises from VW. It's a cracking car, that has 100% converted me to EVs, but it's not without its faults that have been further aggravated by VW - In my humble opinion 🤷 Yours shou...
