Re: Locked myself out
I think it will only 'not' lock again, if the doors have been unlocked. In our scenario only the boot was unlocked/opened not the doors.
And you are correct I have turned of the 'unlock on approach' feature as I did not like it unlocking when I walked past with the keys.

Marcus

Re: Locked myself out
This is how we managed to lock the keys in the boot, be interested to know if it is the same for others. Lock the car fully. then just open the boot via the handle, (do not unlock the car doors) place keys in boot, and shut. leave for 10 mins or so and see if the boot or doors open on return. Our do...

Re: Not pulling more than 50kw on a rapid....
You need to start at a lower SOC. Here is my ID3 on a 175KW charger starting at 15% SOC. As you can see I'm pulling 99kW as advertised. However if you start above about 30% SOC you will not see this rate......

Re: Locked myself out
Just to add, this also happened to me 2 days ago. Went fishing with my son, sent him to the car to get our food from the boot. He opened the boot only, to get the food out but left the key on the boot liner. We realised about 10mins later what had happened. When we approached the car we could see th...

Heat works for sure, I had a similar mark on the roof. Left it out in direct sunlight on a very hot day and it has completely disappeared. If you do try a hair dryer/heat gun be very careful and go slow......

'Knight Rider' mode?
Am I the only person hoping that one day we get custom control of the ID light?
Obviously just so I can feel like a kid again, and program my own lighting effects.
I know it wont be visible on the outside, but it would make me smile and be a nice touch....

Re: Boot opening handle
The reversing camera is in the boot handle, that's why it takes a few seconds to retract. I found this out as I had to wipe the camera lens, and it took me a while to find it! Had to get someone to sit in the drivers seat and activate reverse before I could see it....

New Owner, and question on smartphone charging....
Hi, new owner here, just picked up my Family spec car with heat pump, and east derry alloys yesterday. First few hours with the car has been good so far, just loads to learn as I'm new to EV's. One question I've not managed to figure out, is should the family spec car have wireless phone charging bu...
