Monitoring as temperatue decreases

When I bought the car it was an average 20-30 c. It's now dropped to 10-18 c, however my range hasn't changed. After 4 months it's still saying 220 miles or so for a 90% charge, which I find quite accurate if I control my right foot Just wondered what other folk are getting as estimated by the car f...

Re: Waiting in antici...... pation!

Hi I'm waiting on a 150 Family Pro Performance which was supposed to be coming at the end of this month, but I'll believe it when I see it. I'm looking at the various home charger options. I was initially thinking of Hypervolt, but Zappi and Ohme also appealed. I don't have solar panels so that's o...

Re: If government grant pulled, will you cancel?

It seems "Dicky" (not Dishy) Rishi may cancel the £2500 EV grant in his budget. What if he pulls it straight away and not allow existing orders to benefit, would people cancel their orders or accept paying the extra £2,500? It equivalent to c7% price increase. I bet VW would then increase...

Re: Stupid question number 1000........

Almost, I think it's 1st Edition, Life, Family, Tour, Max, Business etc are or were Trims. Pro refers to the Battery being 58kWh Performance is the 150kW motor but performance isn't badged and the 150kW motor only comes with 58 or 77 battery so will always be Pro? I think that means they all have P...

That may well be useful, thanks.
When you got out of the car, did you have to find a tree branch and give it a good thrashing? (BASIL!!!) ;)
No, I used a rubber sword. Didn't want to scratch the paint ;)

System Reset to solve issues

Hi, I have had two cases since I bought the car of major system warnings. I have solved both with the following procedure, which may or may not work for you My feeling is that the software is very complex and every so often it gets confused and just needs a reset, like a laptop The first time we wer...

Re: How to stop being a free charging point?

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I would tell them that they can't use your charger. I mean, they might as well use your direct debit details for their electricity providers ? I dont mind lending mine to friends or neighbours as a once off emergency or hardship case, but thats it Remember its not jus...

Re: 4th day of ownership and awaiting breakdown service!

You have probably tried this, but reboot the console (keep on button pressed for 20 seconds).
Switch the car off/lock it. Switched back on 5 mins later.

You know the first one is £5ish a month for the software...
Yes

The vodafone is only £3 a month and I think I just read someone keeps it plugged in to a USB socket and it works fine all the time (this will recharge when the car is running and use the battery when off)
