Re: Let’s see your ID.3 and post your positives with the car.
Taken in Dec on delivery, mostly very good but software seems slow and flaky even on 3.2 and load new settings message is infuriating.

Re: Quick Intelligent Octopus Question
I have largely being ignoring the IO threads as I am happy with the fixed window.. So I would have to ask 'What are you gaining, by doing that?' You get extra charging time at lower rate (23:30 to 05:30 at 7.5 pence per KW. I personally think agile is now the better proposition if no gas supply lik...

Re: 19” factory fitted Bridgestones recall
Hi guys, thanks for posting this. Checked my tyres tonight, picture says a 1000 words. Checked my VIN on VW Recall register and its not recognised. If you were local I'd buy you a pint. Might have just saved a horrendous bank holiday weekend accident? Although accident implies no one at fault. VW w...

Re: "New Settings Available" and regular reset of car settings - Potential fix
I'm wondering if it's where I sometimes pull away without logging on and login after a few seconds? It's a dumb system, my 2017 skoda superb linked drivers progiles to the keys. I don't understand why id3 can't do the same.

Rear view mirror
Does everyone else have the same with thier rear view mirror that it points down so that you can't see the tops of cars very well. It's like the mirror is fitted too high and needs lowering slightly. I just wanted to check it wasn't an issue with my rear suspension.

Re: “Emergency SOS licence expired”…?
Hi all, So I have my ID3 now for 1 day, and I am getting this message, both in the app and in the car: 3CBE98BE-B1E6-4607-9F3F-285301A28775.jpeg9507D66C-4A1A-4586-82C5-7C4CEDD63DF7.jpeg The Emergency SOS button is green, and the car is online. Any ideas how I resolve this? I clear the message on th...

Re: What is software version of newly manufactured ID3
Just received my car today it's a build week 8 and software version is 3.1. Now definitely this throws a spanner in the works. I was beginning to believe that 3.2 conversion happened some time late in 2022. I'm not sure what to think now? i think they all come with 3.1 and quickly update to 3.2 whi...

Re: Switch between D and B .. and back
Not sure how much regen B mode actually does It does no more than regen in D mode. The only difference is in how the car's regen is triggered - D mode requires the brake to be pressed or to be driving towards something the car deems you should be slowing for, like a roundabout. In B mode, the momen...

Re: Warmer weather efficiancy
Once you get higher than 12C ambient temp, the efficiency gains are tiny (absolutely no battery warming), assuming you didn't heat the cabin with that drive shown. Presuming you were driving very carefully on 30/40mph roads to get that figure? correct 30/40 mph roads, the sweet spot for economy see...

Took for a short drive today I'm sure that 6miles per kilowatt is more than possible when it warms up over the next couple of months. Re: Warmer weather efficiancy
Tailgating a 58mph truck ("hypermiling"), its certainly possible to do 250 miles, 350 miles is pure fantasy though in a 58kWh ID3 (6 miles per kWh). Sounds like a challenge when the weather warms up. I was around 300 miles range on the trip to Telford and that included a cold run of aroun...
