Not VW fault that chargers are out of order. However the Navigation software should inform you whether a charger is available or not. The Chargemap and MiniCharge software does this, so is achievable. Just another sign of VW lack of insights and thought…. And cr***y software.

Thanks for the explanation. I also went in for an ‘upgrade’ 2 months ago to try to sort out the schedules charging issue. The VW garage couldn’t tell me what the upgrade was, and it took 2 attempts.
