I wonder whether you also have battery pre heating as part of these modifications or if that comes with 3.0?

Re: Delivery time
Not wishing to put a dampener on Cupra Born/ID5 excitement or any other excitement but, I read this week that VW has a backlog of 95,000 BEV orders and over 540,000 vehicles of all types, so far! Its the biggest order backlog they have ever had... order backlog in Europe at an all-time high of 543,...

Re: Delivery time
Seems like VW has opened up ordering for the ID.5 (at least so their website states). Can configure one on the website now. Wonder if an influx of ID.5 orders will affect us all... Re: What colour have you ordered?
I have a metallic black car now and I have never spent so much time cleaning a car for it to look filthy 5 mins later, especially in the summer - pollen and 'London dust' mainly. We are also in a hard water area so dark colours are a nightmare and need water filters to stop spotting. No such issues...

Re: Delivery time
I've just had an email from my lease company saying "All built and due to land in the UK by the 7th Feb." Fingers crossed!! @Utumno - hopefully you'll be updating the spreadsheet soon... That's great news! You must be chuffed! I also leased via the same company and ordered 21st August but...

Re: MY updates coming soon?
At first glance there is nothing in those last two pictures that differs from MY22 apart from the seats. I thought 22.5 was supposed to have a new button to disengage ESC in winter too. I don't think that's it. Did anything say it would be physical? I just presumed it would be in the menu like &quo...

Re: Hurrah for Utumno!
Going by some of the recent delivery predictions, I think Scott and I might be placing our orders for ID3 MK2 just before you get them! I am one year into a three year lease and just the other day was wondering how soon to start thinking about what to do next given the current delays  Ha...

Re: Delivery time
Perhaps another reason for the delivery delays to lower volume VW models is that they need to get as many EVs delivered as possible to avoid massive EU C02 penalties:

I am lucky I can extend the lease on my current car by 6 months but post purchase dissonance has well and truly set in and I won't get it for another 10 months

Re: MY updates coming soon?
I think on balance it's most likely to be the current one. Reason being I am expecting that the "ASR OFF" button that's part of the interior refresh will appear in that bank of touch-sensitive buttons to the left of the steering wheel (most likely in the blank space in the middle of the b...

Re: Collecting our 1st EV on Wednesday
Here’s my introduction. Our id3 58kw Pro Performance in white was ordered on the 09/09/21 and is now at the dealership, we’re picking it up at midday Wednesday. The salesman, (if he’s to be believed) said that the dealers had this model on order anyway in September, hence the rapid delivery (19 wee...

Re: Delivery time
I called my dealer (Listers of Nuneaton) yesterday and was informed that there is no information on the system for my build date (ordered 26/11/21). Suggested that I call back in April! Things seem to be going from bad to worse. You might be lucky but, lots of orders made several months before your...

Having a friendly support group like this forum is essential with new bits of technology as you learn so much from the other users. Utumno's spreadhseet is really invaluable for those of us caught in Never Never Land waiting for our cars to be built.

Re: Inside the car factory of the future
The factory must be working at drastically reduced capacity to have built up such massive lead times. Interesting that different vehicles can be assembled on the same line but that poses more questions about the delays to specific models. There must be specific components for those models in extreme...

Re: Delivery time
Just had another delivery update. Ordered September ‘21 and originally due March ‘22, updated to April ‘22, which has now been updated to November ‘22. That’s a heck of a difference!! Oh well, not much I can do but wait…… Commiserations. Wonder if all 77kW VW/Skoda models are similarly affected? Sa...
