Re: First full day
I know what you mean about the A75 with the seperate speed restrictions for HGV's. When I drove this road last year as I approached these signs I'd hover my foot over the accelerator which would keep it to the speed I was travelling at and press SET on the ACC. I know its a bit of a pain but its the...

Re: Range changed to km
Does it sdisplay km constantly?the2normans wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 1:41 pm Our problem is in the app. We want it displaying range in miles; in settings it says it’s in miles but … it is still displaying in km! How can this be rectified, preferably without reloading the app. The car IS displaying in miles.

It won't show any previous data before you signed up.
Example I joined in early January and all my data is from that moment onwards.

Re: Significant HV battery drain whilst parked.
Quick answer is no. It won’t work with a dead 12v battery. But was fine with a temp replacement the recovery guy put in. I had a 160 mile trip yesterday and 220 due on Monday so kind of grateful it died before then and the workshop now has to do something about it! That said - it’s quite possible i...

Re: It's in German!!!!
Just noticed that the "vehicle wallet" section accessed via the infotainment system, is in German. Anyone else see this? Mine is on V3.0 software. Also, unless it's the info I am referring to, most of the help info has gone. I found the same but if you look further you can change the lang...

Its true about the hire car. You'll only get that if its been referred in to them by the AA or any other breakdown organisations as fleets can use different organisations.

Re: Boat Watching
Starting to think Location 40001 must be Tyne, there have been more ships than enough Emden to Grimsby but my car is still sat at status 38 in location 40101 (Emden). Its been there a month now, must be a good bar or something. EDIT - Nope found out location 40001 is Grimsby, my car is still at Emd...

Re: Significant HV battery drain whilst parked.
Huh. So call to dealer results in their closest booking of 3rd May… the dealer also said if you call VW Assistance then they ‘make a roadside assessment’ then take it to the nearest Vw garage where they have 72 hours to deal with it.. I suspect this means an AA fella comes around - scratches his he...

Called into dealers on way home today, still at status 38. Does anyone know the port and how to find the boat traffic timetable? Edit, i forgot google is my friend, I can see the Elbe Highway is currently in Emden, which could be a promising sign for those of us on status 38. :geek: Its just the ca...

Even with those AP's you will still have to wait 12 month+ for delivery. Where other manufacturers are getting better with lead times.

You can also lock the car so that you have to physically push the unlock button. Without doing so the car will not unlock if the key is in your pocket/handbag.

If I want to charge straight away I use the "Max charging" switch.
Always works a treat with or without the the price cap set.

I also have Octopus and Ohme Pro and had the same thng happen but it was due to Ohme lost contact with my car. It qould not refresh and connect so signed out of the API intergration and it worked perfectly.
I have since reconnected the car to Ohme and now that is working fine.

As to the tyres . I know my car started its build in Nov 21 as it was in the paintshop on the 19th. The tyres on there were dated 28/21 so mid July 21. I took delivery on the 23rd Dec 21.

Don't get too excited. Back in Dec 21 mine sat at Emden awaiting a ship to Grimsby. Whilst at Emden it saw 6 ships come and go to Grimsby before thumbing a lift on the seventh.

Re: Version 3 OTA update
I must admit when it comes to installing 3.0 you do it with trepidation. Mine failed on the first attempt but luckily it didn't brick it. I restarted the install as soon as I saw the first attempt was not successful. As regards to the older versions being an issue, for those that follow Chris on Bat...
