When driving home after the 2.4 update my car definitely did some infotainment reboot as I was driving. Screen went blank and then restarted after 10 seconds or so.
Not noticed anything different at all from 2.3 tbh.

I had exactly the same problem, rear drivers side rattle, and sorted in the same way, tape on the seat catch bolt.

Re: Lane assist tugging to the right when approaching roundabout
Does lane assist only work above 30mph or so?
If so, I guess if you are braking towards a roundabout with lane markers you may see an effect over 30mph which then ceases as you slow. Creating some weird manoeuvring and feel.
Does this make any sense?

Re: UK public charging needs to improve - France excellent
I signed up with Charge Point which was pretty straightforward. Although the charger I used showed on the We Charge app it steadfastly refused to recognise the card. Charge Point seem to broker most vendors. The site I visited had 1 50 kw DC charger and 4 22kw AC. One odity was I couldn't select a ...

Am currently on south coast of Brittany. Arrived via St Malo and charged to 100% at Ionity near Broons. Rural France has predominantly 2 and 3 kw chargers....some 7 & 11kw but haven't been able to get one to work today. Two appeared to register but came up with a message I translated as vehicle...

Good that some hotels are beginning to move on chargers. It’s much needed. I hope the big hotel chains start moving on them it would make a big difference.

I also left mine at airport for 4 weeks. Just lock as normal. I didn’t even check it by app. No point, why poke it with a stick when it’s hibernating
Some other cars, like eNiro, have a 12v battery save option. Not the ID3.

Agree with the OP.
Aa an aside I would definitely recommend using ACC in Normal mode rather than Eco. Far more responsive and inline with other motorway driver behaviours.

Re: 1 year and 14,000 miles.Some thoughts.
I think the public charging network is very geographically patchy and the new demand is increasingly over new supply. Ie. I’m experiencing a bit more queuing at chargers on my old north south and holiday routes from Yorkshire. I remain quite chilled about it and have never had a serious charging iss...

Will reach 1 year on September10th but will be driving a hired ICE around Turkey at the time so a few comments about the experience. My understanding is you always have to trend degradation. Probably over a few weeks and taking readings in different environmental circumstances.

My 2.4 update was successfully done in 2 days and cost nothing, aside from petrol which is fair enough. A free loaner was provided.

If you have evidence they supplied you with a car not as they described to you then you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act section 2.11
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/20 ... ts/enacted
And you have a right to reject it.

Re: Solar + Battery thoughts
I had a bad experience recently with a solar company who were very pushy to the point of bullying. And came up with the ‘sign today and we’ll knock £3k off’ nonsense. Sad these practices are still going on. Obviously I didn’t proceed and hammered them on trustpilot. What I found interesting is their...

I may be wrong but I think most of those functions are not operational yet, although departure time Should work- if slow. . Car Location has been talked about for a long time and I know the app developer said it was coming as part of 3.0 software but I’m not sure it’s there yet(?). Are you saying so...

Yes might well be auto hold. Always best to turn it off when manoeuvring slowly.

Hmmm, very interesting indeed. 28,000 miles and on 3rd set of tyres. We don’t thrash it, wonder if it is the roads here, I’ll talk to the local iD3 drivers, there are quite a few of us. I guess the obvious question is what tyres are you putting on, and where is the wear you are seeing. Are you repl...
