Re: HUD not level?
The same screen to adjust up and down allows you to tilt it to level it up

Re: Pod Point question
It will flash green if the PodPoint has no schedule set but the car does. When you plug the car in outside of the car’s schedule the PodPoint flashes green until the car requests a charge. If you don’t use the car schedule and instead use the PodPoint schedule then the PodPoint shows a pale green/ye...

Re: Home charger recommendations
Sounds about right. Emails go into a black hole. A review I made on TRUSTPILOT grabbed their attention for me. Found they responded there with messages back and forth and uncorked my install problem/routing. Simply too stretched. Absolutely. It was only due to my Twitter post that things got moving...

Re: Home charger recommendations
My faulty Pod Point was finally replaced yesterday. It was a bit of a farce as the first replacement was also faulty, but in a different way🤦🏻♂️ However, I can’t use scheduling yet as they’ve not yet changed over which unit is linked to my account and aren’t responding to any attempt to get hold of...

Re: Home charger recommendations
You don’t need a smart meter, but you do need a smart charger to qualify for the grant.

Re: Home charger recommendations
Based on my personal experience I’d avoid Pod Point. I purchased directly from them. Communications were terrible and they’re incredibly slow to respond, if they ever do. My charger was installed 27/10 and it’s faulty. I’m still waiting for them to sort it out. They claim they need the installer (th...

Re: Locking without alarming?
When you put it in park there’s an option on the main display to disable interior monitoring. It’s the same screen that gives options for air conditioning etc as you get out

Re: Stop start engine button
I would like to know what the button's purpose is, and why I am getting this occasional lack of response. Maybe it’s for occasions where you’d want/need the ignition on without being in the car. An example could be an MOT tester needing the headlights on to check alignment, or functioning of tail l...

Re: Pod Point Installation Progress
I’ve found comms slow and lacking, including having to chase the DNO myself as they just kept saying “waiting on DNO” who were in fact “waiting on info from installer”.
They sub it out to a local installation company, so it could just be that I got a slow contractor.

Re: How to stop beig a free charging point
Just be honest. Ask them why they refuse to pay £0.25/KWh on a public charger but they find it acceptable that you pay roughly the same amount on your electricity bill to charge their car for them.
If they are good friends/family it shouldn’t be a difficult conversation.

It’s called Side Assist and is in the Assistance Plus pack, standard on Max and Tour in the brochure I’m looking at.

Re: Looped Electric Supply
I’m currently waiting for Northern Powergrid to give PodPoint the go ahead on installing the charger and using the smart limit function. I’m on a 60A looped supply. I’m the first house on the cable so it would be next door that need the drive digging up, which is fortunate as we had a new resin driv...

I had them on the Tiguan. If the ID3 didn’t have them I wouldn’t have bought it. They’re that good.

Re: We Connect App whilst charging
I’ve just used a public charger for the third time since getting the car a week ago (different types of charger in different locations). Every time I’ve monitored the charger in the We Connect app with no issues.

Re: Air Con - won’t work at all
I had the same confusion driving home from picking the car up last week. Press the Clima button below the screen, then turn on by pressing the button in the top left corner of the screen. Annoyingly this button is coloured the opposite way to all other buttons to signify off and on. It would be nice...

How do you get it for free, as I can only see paid subscriptions?
