Re: home charger choice if 3phase is available

I don't use the car to time the charge as it just doesn't work, I have a pod point and I use the timer on that to get my four-hour charge with no problems

Re: Hyundai IONQ5

Yes I really do prefer the traditional interior of the Ioniq 5, truth be told I prefer the exterior too :P Hyundai are doing really great things with their batteries when it comes to range. I thought it was faster than the ID.3 though? Official figures are 0 to 62 mph in just 5.2 seconds, top speed...

Hyundai IONQ5

Had a test drive in an Ioniq5 today, found the dash layout much more user friendly and better to look at, however the car didn't seem to have as much power as mine even in sport mode. I was offered a really good price for mine if they had it by the end of the month but wouldn't guarantee anything if...

Re: Octopus Go New Tariffs

Well, I can't decide whether or not its worth switching to Octopus Go, because of their gas prices. My current supplier (Outfox the Market) only does dual-fuel, so I *have* to switch the gas if I switch electricity. My current tariff is variable rate and seems to have been more or less tracking the...

Re: Joined the club - first impressions and queries

The mirror dipping has to be set with the control on lhs and reverse engaged , set the mirror to where you want it and that's that , at for setting charging time using the car settings forget it , it is useless use your charger to do it if you can, this is supposed to be correct in update 3

Re: V W WE CHARGE

I assume you realise that when you eventually get your ID.3 so you can have a free year of 'we charge go', which reduces the cost of Ionity from 69p/kWh to 45p/kWh. Just make sure you don't miss out by rushing through the set up in the WeConnect ID app (if you mistakenly select the 'wecharge free' ...

Wecharge have only ever added 5% to the unit charge on Osprey when I've used it which has been for the last 15 months , my free £500 finishes next week and I'll only use it in an emergency I'll use my octopus juice card when I'm on the move

I've got the same mud flaps and i haven't noticed any improvement at all , the rear end gets covered in mud so in my opinion they are a waste of time

Re: Pod point home charger issues, cable stuck and timing issues

Agree with Scott first time i set my percentage with the app and it carried on to 100% , since then made sure car was at 80% and never had a problem . My pod point is tethered and never had a problem pulling it out of the car

Re: Total blackout of infotainment and instrument binnacle

Another thread raised by someone who was looking for help only for it to be sidetracked onto a debate that should be elsewhere. It really isn't helpful and seems deliberate at worst and inconsiderate at best. Marking someone as foe isn't the answer. It just needs a bit of common sense and curtesy. 👍👍

Is it a perceived view that the software on the ID.3, especially charging is useless or are the reports a distortion? Is the view actually true? Is there anyone sitting in the passenger seat because most of the heating functions on the passenger side only work if there's someone in the seat

^ Which is highly annoying. It is VERY annoying.. Its things like this that I just don't get. My old Touran had the option of dipping the mirror when selecting reverse. You either set to dip every time or not at all. I don't understand the logic behind to select it each time you want it as now seem...

If you really miss it apparently if you do a factory reset on the car it will download soon after the car is back online.

Just press the climate button or the heated seats icon on the screen and then just touch the button on the top left hand corner of the screen which turns it all off, this button is the reverse of everything else , blue off ,clear on
