I believe any DAB radio built since around 2013/14 is DAB+ compatible. Not that there is any real need in the UK as the DAB+ stations are few and far between and there is not real noticeable difference in sound quality, especially in a car with only front speakers. I am hoping to be proved wrong, but having to apply two separate updates totalling several hours just for a few tweaks to the infotainment system and a bit more use made of the ID light sounds pretty underwhelming to me. Or am I missing something?
