We have these and they seem to be fine. One benefit of taking the Tour was that it came with low rolling resistance tyres.

Re: Should my Car have a Reversing Camera (and other things)

My uncle was a "Sucker" "Looker" in the VW van factory in Hanover until he took retirement. His only job was to check each vehicle as it rolled off the assembly line for completeness. In particular those built on Mondays sometimes had interesting stuff missing, such as, you know,...

Re: ID.3 U.K. Delivery Times

You could be looking at a December delivery going by my dates. Its just so uncertain at the moment. Your signature is fascinating. We ordered our almost identical Tour, Heatpump, Manganese Grey, bicolor, on June 26, deposit paid June 28, and took delivery on July 16, and could have taken delivery o...

Re: ID3 Software Update v2.3

Not sure about that. We bought the vehicle with a certain performance promise (range and lifetime). That was the deal and both sides, VW and us were happy with it. If they now have an additional, value-enhancing improvement to add (rather than a bug fix), I'm happy to consider paying for it. Even mo...

Re: Source London issues

Update, they fixed the matter in reaction to a message I sent through my account and only billed me for actual time connected. No further exchange was needed.

Their pricing structure isn't hot, but when you cannot charge at home, it's the best thing available here.

Re: ROAD TRIP! Taking the ID.3 to central Italy

II - return trip This was from Abruzzo, up the A14 to Bologna, then the A22 north to Bolzano, where we stayed for the night. Onwards to Innsbruck, then Fernpaß, followed by A7 then A8 via Stuttgart on to Luxembourg through the Eifel region. Two nights in LUX, Covid tests, and then through Belgium an...

Re: ROAD TRIP! Taking the ID.3 to central Italy

Okay, final on this in two parts. I - In Italy We spent about four weeks in Central Italy, with two return trips to Firenze airport (200km each way) and two return trips to Abruzzo where my parents now live most of the year (200km each way). Also racked up about 50-100km per day driving around, e.g....

Source London issues

Anyone else had issues with them? I had one overnight charge not billed, as the charger crashed and rebooted when I reconnected. So that was nice. Today however, I charged, disconnected after over five hours, and just received a text, seven hours later, warning me that I had incurred charges of $26....

Anyone who compares this to the delivery times of the Trabant in the late and non-lamented GDR will no doubt chuckle to hear that the ID.3 is produced on the same site.

Re: Testing VW ID3 Sport with 120kW Charging

Mundane question. I noticed that the pedals in his test car had the play and pause logo on them. Our Life was delivered 1st September and it doesn't have those. Not that I want them, they seem a bit childish. What defines whether they are fitted or not? Told it was a mundane question. We had them o...

Re: Still unsure about EV ownership

I’m awaiting delivery of my pro performance family but I’m not daunted by long distance journeys. I’m confident I’ll be able to plan a route to my daughter in Cheshire (from Sussex) and my son in Zurich. The range is about right for the amount of time I’d drive before needing a comfort stop. For ex...

Re: New Tour Owner

This is what I have That’s really nice :D. Shame about memory seats… Someone pointed out that the VW used to call it Area View even with just reverse camera being able to switch between wide angle and normal. Is this true? Yes that is true it’s on my spec sheet for my max but it is only the wide an...

This is potentially the car I am looking at, would be interested in your opinion? Also could you take a photo of rear seats as states it is a four seater.

Thanks in advance.

Re: VW WE CHARGE

That's not happening with Ionity. Might be an Osprey issue - WeCharge has to charge you VAT, as you are the final customer. Osprey shouldn't charge VAT to WeCharge as it is a pass through for them. They should only apply the net price.
