Re: General 2.3 OTA rollout to start
What is the 'goodbye' screen? I can't see anything like it when I leave the car.

Won't the Audi part fit the ID3? You could order the part from Audi and see how it goes. Can you return it if you 'change your mind' if it doesn't fit?

They are pretty poor to be honest. They really should have been re engineered for RHD.

Re: Vehicle jack & wheel bolt wrench (spanner) ?
Yesterday when I checked my ID.3 (a Family PP with east derry alloys) during the delivery handover I was surprised that the toolkit didn't contain either a vehicle jack or wheelbrace though there are cutout slots ni. There is however a tyre sealant kit & air-pump. I queried this and was told (a...

What does it look like when it is updating? Can you tell when it updates? I think our car has done something as the warning lights came on while driving this morning and then There was a message about an update that I pressed to confirm on the screen. However, there doesn't appear to be anything els...

Creaking from Panoramic Roof
Hi all, We have a Family model that has now done 5000 miles. Loving the car and so far it has been pretty faultless (barring the usual ID3 niggles in software, etc). We are especially pleased with the build quality of the car, it being silent over all surfaces in terms of creaks and rattles. However...

Check that the dealer has put a proper set of green number plates on for you! Ours was supplied with regular plates but the dealer (Swansway in Wrexham, who have been really good) have just made up a set of green ones and posted them to me. Green plates are entirely optional, and there are zero ben...

In tight bends, on steep hill crests or in dips in the road or when oncoming traffic is half-hidden. Funnily enough that happened to me for the first time yesterday as I was driving home at dusk. Drove down into a dip in the road and a car coming towards me flashed me. I had not experienced this be...

Re: ACC and speed recognition
Anyone noticed this scenario? Travelling through a 40mph limit into a 60mph limit. At the point the car seems to recognise the new 60mph limit, it drops to 30mph for maybe 5 seconds, before deciding to increase to the 60mph limit. It's quite annoying, especially for any following traffic. It's not ...

But do you really feel embarrassed by the sound of the horn? Some of the most expensive cars in the past had what you might consider to be cheap sounding hoens.

Re: Horn question
Do you really need a powerful, dual tone horn? I can't remember the last time I actually had to use the horn, and assuming that the vehicle you need to honk at hears you, what is the issue with a single tone horn? As for being an embarrassment, do you really need to feel supported by the 'size' of y...

I think I have received an email about this. However its all in German and embarrassingly, I don't speak the language. So in all honesty I haven't a clue about what is to happen. The title of my email is "Over-the-Air Update für Ihren ID. – Jetzt zustimmen." Ours was in German too, but yo...

I believe it is impossible to download and install carbridge without jailbreaking your phone. As far as I can see it is a scam to suggest otherwise. The OP is a troll/scammer.

Re: ACC problem
What I meant was that if I am following a vehicle that moves off to a slip road from the left lane then it slows down too much, and separately, if I am in the overtaking lane following a vehicle that moves to the inside lane then the car takes an age to speed up again. I think it may be something to...

Re: ACC problem
This is exactly how I feel as well. The car does not accelerate after the vehicle in front has left the carriageway via a slip road or changed lanes in front. The cars behind get frustrated (I feel) because I am sitting dawdling along in the overtaking lane instead of getting back up to speed.

In this country there are shortages in nearly every sector, including building supplies and materials in most areas.. Have you been in a supermarket recently? That's untrue. There...

Re: Considering an ID3
Thanks folks. Indeed the only reason I would go for the Tour over the Max is that it’s £10 cheaper per month on a lease versus the Max with the 19 alloys. So effectively I would be deciding to pay more for the Max. Any idea on the ambient lighting on the rear doors? Is lighting in the rear importan...
