Re: 2.3 software update
I had this response today. Which seems out of kilter with already having had 2.3 part 1. Oh well… “ As we further checked in our tools, your vehicle has not been assigned to the campaign yet. Thus, it is not possible to determine in advance for which time-frame your ID.3 will be assigned. Therefore,...

Re: 2.3 software update
Ok - so this explains something. I did a reset whilst (still) waiting for part 2 of 2.3.
Does this mean I’m never going to get it?

Re: Range degradation
Yes the first hit of the battery heater is significant. Yesterday a case in point. 8 mile journey to a pub for lunch - used 10% getting there from a 5 degree start.
I then had to make the same journey three times (forgot the lads coat) back - there and back again - which used just over 10%.

Re: EV Power MFG unable to charge
Update in case anyone cares... I have successfully charged on this network many times, but I have always held on to the lead in the manner described prior to charging. Never had a charge faster than 60kwh though, even when optimal soc. Update on your update :) they’ve changed the leads and connecto...

You get a bit but not much with Tronity. It’s useful for tracking charging rates and costs though.

Re: Range declining with cooler temperatures
Dont forget that actually using the battery warms it up! So if you drive while the battery heater is on - you are shortening the time the heater will be on etc...

Re: Range degradation
Its the battery heater that uses loads of juice (8-10kw) for the first 10-20 min from a sub 11 degree start. 10kw for 15 min = 2.5kwh, or approximately 5% of a 57kwh battery.. So every completely cold start you do will take a big chunk - and this is then reflected in your consumption. The newest mo...

Re: Range degradation
2 mile round trip school run this morning. 1.7 miles per kWh recorded, and a 5% drop in range between leaving and returning, which means 2.9 kWh used, but should've been 1.2kWh used to do 2 miles @ 1.7 miles per kWh. Something odd going on there, it's almost as if the economy figure is inclusive of...

Re: Access to detailed data?
You can get an OBD dongle to plug in - and then log the data to your smartphone when you use the car. But at the moment there’s no way to download any data that the car is presumably storing.

Re: I've not received V2.3 second part of update
You could try long pressing the square “menu” button on the left (or right) see if there’s anything there to install? That doesn’t do anything I’m afraid. An update on the update. This did show a 'start update' button. That I pressed and not alot happened. I've left it to its own devices for a bit!
