Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car
Mine is a problem in very heavy rain on faster roads. In lighter rain there is no noticeable effect because the left hand wiper doesn't leave behind enough water to be noticeable in my line of sight. I wouldn't have said it's dangerous, I can still see ok, but it's annoying. It isn't going to be fix...

Re: Infotainment: Navigation app vs. We Charge app. Conflicting info on chargers?
I've found that the live availability data (red/green status and the extra info when you click for more detail) is ok for Ionity (but fairly limited experience ie maybe 5 occasions when I've looked it) but definitely unreliable for other networks I've checked it for. When I looked at it recently for...

You can move the icons about so the things you use more are on page 1. I think you just press and hold the icon to go into editing mode.

Re: 3.2 Software Charging Menu Page
In 3.0, it was separated out in to its own menu called "charging"... pretty sure 3.2 will be the same.

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes
I’m having my software updated this week, and the plan is then to jump to IO. I also have a Hypervolt charger so fingers crossed it all works as expected. Is there a guide or basic ‘how to’ somewhere, which I can cast my eye over? If you have Facebook, a couple of guys on the UK ID3 Facebook put to...

I'm going on the Saturday, hopefully get to nose around a few things as possible bigger car replacements in future, and also a few home energy things.

Re: Scheduled charging: "charge directly to 50% and hold" not working as it should
Might be worth checking whether the function to charge only to 50% immediately works if you use preferred times, rather than departure time. If that works, it's obviously a bug related to the departure time. I don't use the departure time function often but with preferred times this has always worke...

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes
Picking up on Ksoni94’s post. I have exactly the same issue which I have been trying to sort for a while. I have software version 3.2 & location settings are turned on but the car simply will not show. In the later post Ksoni refers to “park position on”. Where do I find this? I cannot see it i...

Cool. If your car tells you to visit the Fastned at Achere la Foret services via a local road, don't believe it!
We are also going back over the channel in October but I think I've been persuaded to go somewhere other than Font :oS

Re: Intelligent Octopus Woes
Yep you should have both weconnect and weconnect plus, then activate all permissions - they do different things. Good knowledge that it affects Octopus Intelligent. There are some weird things like that - eg to get Tronity to work fully and record trip data, you need to have enabled permissions for ...

Re: We Charge
Isn’t there a Tesla for all station at Fontainebleau? I think there is, yes, not sure if it was open to all last October though as I don't think I knew about it at the time. The big Carrefour near Chailly seemingly has some Allego high power chargers now too which is really good, I've shopped there...

Re: 3.2 installed at the dealer today!
What's that about? Just spoke to my dealer and they no nothing as it has only been released today. Edit from VW CS The 44TT campaign is about the tyres that are installed in your vehicle. On some ID.3 vehicles inch Summer tyres by Goodyear with dimensions 215/50 R19 93T may have been fitted on whic...

Re: 3.2 installed at the dealer today!
Quite a few people have reported going to 3.1 at the dealer and it then getting a short OTA to 3.2 very soon afterwards. This is also the same as a lot of new cars have had. The strange thing is that all these cars that people have shared photos of seem to show software 3.2.0. I thought VW were exp...

Re: Tyre recommendation
2200kg? An ID3 doesn't weigh that much, it's pretty similar to the Volvo. You have probably seen the maximum loaded weight.
Lots of people use Cross Climate 2s. I am still on the original 18" Contis after 15k and would recommend them if you decide you don't need an all season tyre.

Thanks for the heads up good people I am going to have to explore the numbers again. Prices seem to be stable if not coming down. We are both retired and at home during the day. Currently on Octopus Tracker which is constantly less than 20p. If you are on Tracker in a 'normal' household you will be...

Re: Sport Mode Query
I suspect the bit of sport mode you can't select is the drive setting? It's only available in Pro Performance or Pro S. I don't believe it adds more power than comfort mode (if it does the difference is minimal) but the pedal is a bit more responsive and the biggest difference is it implements a per...
