Recall code for stereo with too much bass?
Hello, I am taking my car in for the 3.2 update soon and would like to get my dealer to correct the stereo bass issue introduced after 3.0. I know there was a recall code for this but it's not displaying on my VIN, I've already described the issue to the dealer but I'd like to go in with the recall ...

I hope for your sake it's only 2-3 weeks, I've had an ECU on backorder from VW for 5 months now.

Re: 3.2 software update cancelled
Like I said at the beginning that had a feeling my Tour pro might be there for sometime, looks like I was right. Dropped it on Saturday, got a call today that it's been bricked and there is nothing they can do,just waiting to see what VW germany tells them what to do. Driving a polo as a courtesy car...

Re: 3.2 software update cancelled
Doh, got the dreaded call this morning.
My update and battery check at VW Solihull on Monday cancelled due to the HV batteries being on back order, they will phone me when they are back in stock.

Re: 3.2 installed at the dealer today!
My local dealers (Telford and Shrewsbury) do not deal with HV battery, so I need to drive an hour to Solihull! Appointment made for late June, glad I got in when I did because they booked me in for the week, I can imagine appointments will be months in advance very soon. I just wish my local dealer ...

I don't have that specific issue but I do feel like I am always sitting too high even though I'm only 5'8" and I have the seat all the way down.

Re: 3.5 software, then 4.0 apparently later this year ('23)
My dealer didn't know anything about it.
Apparently there are 2 recalls right now for a bunch of cars, one named "S-replace battery module(s)" which I imagine is a test of the battery to make sure all is correct. The other is the 3.2 update.

Re: Unlock using key seems inconsistent
Mine is doing the same, just my main key though, the other key works fine.
I just got back from VW and they changed the battery in my key, got home, pressed lock 3 times before it actually locked.

Re: Switch between D and B .. and back
I stick with B, once you learn how to ease on and off the power it's great. I just wish it would have more regen braking and come to a complete stop.

Re: My ID.3 is off the road due to a slow puncture
Late update, had the punctured tyre replaced by mobile Kwik Fit, huge nail in the tyre.
All tyres were checked and were well within spec, so didn't need replacing. From what I've read, these Bridgestones don't come with the usual tread depth new, they are harder tyres with a reduced depth.

Re: Door handle not opening car ? Anyone ?
My keyless entry has been broken since my car went to the garage to investigate speaker and heater issues since update to 3.0.
Apparently my car has a bunch of error codes and they were trying to work out what was going on, now I am waiting for a new ECU or something.

Re: Since 3.0 update, the speakers are become bassier.
Took my car in, they adjusted the bass levels so it's a lot better now. I was also getting rattling at the front centre speaker, even at lower volumes sound was distorting.
They say that VW know about it but there's currently no fix.

Re: Since 3.0 update, the speakers are become bassier.
I'm now at -9 on all frequency sliders and it is still very bass heavy. The sound has changed so much my centre speaker rattles on certain tracks, Kate Bush - Breathing for example is just a mess of distortion. Car is going in next week so will ask them to check it. Along with a few other issues I'm...

Since 3.0 update, the speakers are become bassier.
And I mean, way more bass. I've had to turn all 3 frequency dials down to 0 because it's just way too much. My front centre speaker also appears to be struggling even at low to moderate volume, tracks with more treble are rattling the speaker, it actually sounds like it's broken. Anyone else experie...

Sucks that our cars are going to look old already.
Funny, when I first went to view the car I said "what's this plastic bit for on the bonnet?". I never did quite understand that design "feature".

I still hate that they decided to use piano black plastic on the interior. Worst design decision ever, especially on places like the door handles.

Re: My ID.3 is off the road due to a slow puncture
KwikFit came out and replaced the tyre with the puncture, they wouldn't touch the other because it was still fine. To be fair, the one he removed with the nail in looked damn good, tread was still deep. Seems they haven't worn much since I had the "68% worn" advisory in September. Currentl...
