Anyone notice range is not displaying correctly since 3.0?
I did a charge to 80% yesterday and seeing only 119 mile range. Should be in the 240-270 range with these temperatures.
Pretty sure the car will recalculate once I get driving.

Re: 3.0 Software Update
It would be good if the sound on my 1st Edition improves post update (still waiting), if it could remotely install two rear speakers I’d be a very happy bunny indeed! Yeah, I listen to music all the time in the car and it's the first thing I noticed. Can't say it really sounds "better", j...

Re: 3.0 Software Update
Anyone else notice the Bass on the sound system increased since the update? With the setting at default there is more Bass than there used to be.
I find myself having to lower it a bit.

Re: 3.0 Software Update
Thank you! However I tried this and the app still doesn't work on my phone. I'll have another fiddle tomorrow! Once the install is done, your car should disappear from the app. You then need to follow the steps on the infotainment system to re-add your car. I got part 2 of the update 1 day after th...

Re: 3.0 Software Update
Well, that was a bit scary. Update went fine, got in the car to configure it and it got stuck on connecting to VW ID. The infotainment went black with only the offline symbol and the clock next to it. Had to reset the infotainment system and it restarted the configuration again. It then installed a ...

Re: 3.0 Software Update
I just drove 30 minutes and it didn't come back D:
EDIT: Just got in it on the drive, reversed a meter, went back forward, parked and it popped up.

Re: 3.0 Software Update
I know somebody else mentioned it but I can't find it.
How can you get the update prompt to appear again? Mine came up when I was in McDonalds car park waiting for my order, which they eventually screwed up, which meant I had to go inside to sort it out... So I blame inept McDonalds staff.

Just under 5000.
I know they wear quicker than normal cars due to higher torque, I haven't thrashed the car either, I drive in Eco mode most of the time.

Re: My ID.3 is off the road due to a slow puncture
Nail in a tyre is a £20 job,no need to change whole tyre unless you don’t have to pay extra for the tyres . I'm sure Kwik Fit would have suggested a repair if they thought it could be done... Unless they just want to replace for the extra money from Motability. VW didn't want to remove the nail as ...

My ID.3 is off the road due to a slow puncture
My rear offside tyre has a nail in it thus a slow puncture. It's a Motability car so took it to VW, who told me to take it to Kwik Fit as they deal with the Tyres on Motability cars. Kwik Fit don't have any of the tyres required in stock (Bridgestones) and are not allowed to fit anything other than ...

Re: Electric cars now more expensive per mile than diesel
Maybe your title should have included the "on public fast chargers" :) In any case, who enjoys driving a dirty diesel? They are noisy, slow, dirty... Most of my charging is done from home, which is still cheaper than diesel and petrol as it stands, not to mention how much of a joy it is to...

Re: Winter
Yeah it's great for that, preheat so you can get in to a warm car. It just hammers the range though! If you leave it plugged in while preheating, it improves your maximum range a bit because you set off with a full battery and warm car that doesn't need heating up. Of course you'll have used extra ...

Re: Your next car?
My next car will be an ID3, if VW ever get around to building it!!!!!! I don't think i will order another VAG car again, their silence and lack of updates, whilst building other VAG cars is shocking. They aren't usually this bad, COVID caused it all. I've had 6 VW cars over the years and only ever ...

Re: Your next car?
As a Motability customer my choices are skewed and limited by what's available on the scheme and at what price. For example, an eMokka Ultimate at £200 is tempting, as is the eC4 Shine Plus at £1300. However, the Nissan Ariya Advance at £7400 is out of my league. Trouble is, with all of these cars,...

Re: "Stonewashed Blue - not available please select another colour" says dealer
Mine is white, I saw a Silver and it did look nice.
There aren't many colours I like on the ID.3 tbh, the launch colours were all very meh and boring.
Kings Red is a nice colour if you like a red car.
I wouldn't go with anything dark simply due to scratches/swirls being so visible on them.

Re: Octopus Go and October Price Cap
I honestly don't know what to do. Currently my bill is £311/month direct debit. From October on, Scottish Power want £426! Not sure if Octopus Go Faster would work out cheaper if I did the laundry after 9.30pm. We don't use the car that much, we usually do 5-6K miles per year. This might help? Octo...
