Re: Octopus Go and October Price Cap

I honestly don't know what to do. Currently my bill is £311/month direct debit. From October on, Scottish Power want £426!

Not sure if Octopus Go Faster would work out cheaper if I did the laundry after 9.30pm.

We don't use the car that much, we usually do 5-6K miles per year.

Re: Auto hold and park asssist

Had trouble reversing in to a tight spot the other day, autohold tends to slam on even when moving at slow speeds in the ID.3, never did that in my Golf. Had to come to a complete stop for auto hold to kick in.

On the ID.3 it seems to kick in way too early and slam on even if you're moving.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

not to one up - ours pro max is in and i was given a base model polo - gutless manual bag of spanner’s ! picking my baby back up tomorrow! I would have preferred a Polo to be honest, at least they are an established model at this point, the Taigo just sits in no mans land--it isn't one thing or the...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

Day 3, car is done. Computer was down at dealer for the first 2 days.

The update went through first time apparently, the mechanic has never seen that happen before. They said there were no WiFi dropouts either.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

Day 2, got a call from Inchcape Telford to inform me their computers were down again and they were waiting on IT. They have kept my car and are hoping to do it tomorrow. I still have this Taigo, honestly not sure if it is the 1.0L, it certainly feels like it. Absolutely no power, if you put your foo...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement

Dropped mine off today, everything is crossed that it goes smoothly. Asked them not to clean it inside or out because I've already done so and don't want them scratching it. They are going to check fluid levels, asked them not to top up the windscreen washers because I don't want scented fluid in th...

Re: Rattle

Don't expect VW to do much about a rattle. I asked them to check my Golf during a service because it had an annoying rattle, got the usual "nothing could be found". Which I get, because it's hard to find a rattle without actually driving it, even then it's very hard to narrow it down. My I...

Re: Lane assist tugging to the right when approaching roundabout

It's definitely a pull to the right hand lane, I always counter steer it.

I experienced it again today and let it take control, it appeared to pull to the right side of the left lane but didn't cross the line.

Lane assist tugging to the right when approaching roundabout

I've noticed this many times, when approaching a roundabout my steering wheel will tug to the right, even though I am heading for the left lane. Pretty annoying and makes me look like a bad driver, cars behind must be wondering why I am swerving around. Anyone else experienced this? It seems like 2-...

The vents drive me mad tbh, you can't move them too far to one way otherwise they turn off.

Not noticed that, but I hate the piano black trim, worst design decision ever... fingerprint magnet.

I have noticed a strange green glow from the HUD glass at times when it's sunny.

Re: D versus B safety

B mode here too, I just like the way it drives. I still hover my foot over the brake when I think I may need it. Left foot braking? Nope, I just remove my right foot from the accelerator and hover over the brake. That way I can slow down more if I need to or come to a complete stop with a light tou...

Mine has 2 seats in the back. Not a problem for me though because I only carry 2-4 people max.

Re: Tyre pressures at delivery?

Well, no it doesn't have tyre pressure sensors that's the point. It has a system that uses the ABS sensors to monitor wheel rotation and compares it to the other wheels to see if there is a difference which would indicate a change in circumference. It has no idea what the actual pressures are, so y...

Re: Tyre pressures at delivery?

What amazes me looking at the comments re this topic , is have all motorists got out of the habit of checking their tyres on a regular basis. The tyre pressures are clearly indicated on the driver's side of the ID.3.The tyre pressures varies depending on the load that is required to be carried. In m...
