ID-3 Software Version - How to Check

Hi,

Could someone let me know how I check the current software version of my ID-3?

I went into the Infotainment System menus this afternoon and under "Help" I found Software Version V3.1.0, but I don't see that version referenced anywhere, so maybe V3.1.0 is specific to the Infotainment system?

My car seems to have a lot of the later features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so I suspect it has V2.x loaded.

Thanks for any help on this.

v3.1 is likely the version of the user manual.

You need to go to Settings-> System information.

The 2.1 release is Software: 0792

The 2.3 release will say ID Software 2.3 as well as Software version 0910

Many thanks. Software is 0792. Am I right in saying that V2.3 will be an "over the air" update rather than needing a dealer visit?

That’s correct. Some 1st movers have already had it delivered OTA.
