Hi All,
Have anybody got this error message?
It happened suddenly while driving, the navigation was not updating, I hadn’t info about my speed or anything else on the small screen. The rest of the infotainment system was working, I could use my iphone maps for example.
I’m wondering if it may be related to the upcoming 2.3 update, even though I didn’t get any message about the update yet, I had the car for 6 months and its the first time it has happened. Next day worked fine.

Thanks.

Yes, this has happened to me once. Basically, sometimes the computer does not start up properly or with all functions available. Usually sorted when you next start it up/restart. Annoying but not a hugely regular occurrence.

Happened to ours last week and disconcerting as wife was on M4 and on way to work with the average speed camera section to negotiate and no speedo

Fortunately left all day and has been ok since then

Not quite a case a switch it off and switch back on as needed a reasonable time off to reset itself

This has nothing at all to do with the 2.3 update.

I think there is a way of doing a reset without leaving the car off for ages - if someone knows exactly how let us know!

I had this happen to me last week on my 2020 ID.3. Unfortunately I was about to leave for a hospital appointment and didn't have time to get out, lock and leave it for a while. It's very disconcerting to drive with no speedo or other info, and I was also wondering about the legality of doing so. Fortunately after leaving it in the hospital car park for about 20 minutes, it was fine and (touch wood) it hasn't repeated the problem.

Just wondering whether other people have had this problem in the 3 years since the previous post, and if so, did they find a solution, apart from just leaving it?
