having just purchased a id3 life it does not have the led lightbar between the headlamps does anybody know if you can purchase this and retro fit it

You can - an EU retailer sells them (sorry forgotten who) - but you'll probably also have the headlights with a single LED bar - rather than the bar/strip all the way around the headlight that models with the light bar have. But of course that might not matter

BTW - is the light bar only on when the lights are on (that seems to be the case with mine) - if not, where is the option to have it on during the day?

Was there an option in the past (before they only allowed me to order an id3 life) that bundled the light bar with matrix headlights - I must admit I like the spectacle style running lights and assume these are the matrix lights ?!

I have been endlessly hunting if it's possible to retrofit rear speakers on our ID.3 so thanks for linking this. Although now I'd need to find a garage who can do the work...

The issue initially in that thread was about getting the coding done, so I assume the kit has been developed further in the last 16 or so months to include the coding dongle, although in that case I assume it could also be done with OBDeleven now.

As having recently moved to an id3 with rear speakers - I don’t really notice any difference tbh! But I’m not an audio buff.

IIRC the easier upgrade was to upgrade the front speakers only - which apparently made a very worthwhile difference…

Hello! Can anybody that already installed front led grill bar share their manual? I've got new set of front led grill bar for my 2022 ID.3, but I lack instructions and I would really appriciate it.... Thanks
